PANews reported on April 4 that according to TechCrunch, Latin American venture capital fund Kaszek Ventures raised US$975 million through its two new funds, including the US$540 million early-stage fund Kaszek Ventures VI and the US$435 million late-stage investment tool Kaszek Ventures Opportunity-III (KVO-III).

Kaszek plans to put money from its early-stage fund into 20 to 30 companies (at the seed, Series A and Series B stages), with investments ranging from $500,000 to $25 million. Its later-stage fund will be more focused, with the firm aiming to invest in 10 to 15 companies, with investments ranging from $10 million to $50 million.

Kaszek's investment portfolio includes companies in a range of industries including blockchain, fintech, enterprise/SaaS, real estate technology, insurance technology, health technology, education technology, e-commerce, food technology, climate technology and biotechnology. He has previously invested in Brazilian digital bank Nubank, crypto exchange Bitso, digital payment platform Kushki, etc.
