Volatility in the crypto market intensified today! Bitcoin briefly dipped to around $81,000 before climbing back above $83,000. Ethereum and some altcoins are also facing pullback pressure. Weakness in tech stocks and shifting capital flows are influencing market sentiment.
Here are three key areas to watch:
BTC: Can it hold key price levels?
ETH: Watch its relative strength and how long any rebound lasts.
Altcoins: Keep an eye on trading volume and beware of sharp swings caused by insufficient liquidity.
The more turbulent the market, the more important it is to stay calm. Don’t blindly chase prices after a short-term rally, and don’t lose perspective when prices suddenly fall. Managing your positions and controlling trading risk are more important than guessing the next candlestick.

US CPI Comes in Hot — Bitcoin Drops Below $82K. Is the Bigger Problem Just Beginning?
September US inflation came in at 3.7% year over year, above the 3.6% consensus estimate.
Core CPI reached 2.6%, adding to concerns about persistent inflation.
Bitcoin fell below $82K following the release, while major altcoins also came under pressure.
But the real issue isn’t just the inflation number.
It’s what that number means for Federal Reserve policy.
If inflation remains sticky, interest rates could stay elevated for longer, making liquidity conditions more challenging for risk assets.
One important detail: gasoline prices surged 9.1% month over month, contributing heavily to the headline increase.
That leaves investors with a critical question.
Is this a temporary energy-driven inflation shock, or the beginning of more persistent price pressure?
I’m watching three things now:
Bitcoin’s ability to reclaim $82K, the direction of Treasury yields and the dollar, and whether genuine spot demand returns.
Bitcoin is becoming a global macro asset. That also means it can’t easily escape global liquidity conditions.
Is this a short-term panic reaction or the start of a deeper correction?
