Golden Finance reported that Bitcoin Web3 infrastructure provider Omega announced the completion of a $6 million financing round, with investors including Lightspeed Faction, Bankless Ventures, Blockchain.com, Wave Digital, etc.
Omega is committed to creating decentralized infrastructure to redefine full-chain and Bitcoin DeFi. The team said the new funds will be used to help launch Omega's Bitcoin Web3 infrastructure, the first decentralized solution that enables Bitcoin holders to use the value of their Layer 1 BTC to generate returns without the need for bridging, wrapping or synthesis, thereby allowing native Bitcoin to be used in DeFi.
