According to Wu, Christine Kim's summary of the 134th Ethereum Consensus Core Developers Meeting (ACDC) mainly discussed the review of Devnet 0, including the compatibility issues that may be caused by EIP-7549 removing attestation from the committee index. Based on the performance of Devnet 0, the developers decided not to change the attestation behavior of EIP-7549 during the Pectra upgrade. At the same time, EIP-7251 increased the maximum effective balance from 32 to 2048, but it has not yet been determined whether the validator merge is defined as a CL operation or an EL operation.
The EIP-7549 change proposal moves the new field to the end of the container to maintain stability. Within Pectra, developers discussed the possibility of including PeerDAS and EIP-7688, and considered splitting the upgrade into two phases to manage complexity. EIP-7688 aims to convert the consensus SSZ data structure to StableContainer.
