According to Foresight News, Particle Network, a Web3 infrastructure provider, has announced its upgrade to a modular public chain, aiming to build a universal settlement layer across Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Bitcoin (BTC) ecosystems. Following the launch of Particle Network L1, the assets and transaction settlements of partnered dApps and users on various chains will seamlessly migrate to Particle Network L1.
Currently, Particle Network has partnered with over 900 dApps and operates AA infrastructure on 56 public chains, including Berachain and Blast. The company's BTC Connect product has been integrated into more than 40 BTC L2s, with over $2 billion in on-chain assets stored in its wallet infrastructure. Particle Network stated that the L1 upgrade will continue to empower other public chains, dApps, and users, accelerating the Web3 cross-chain interoperability process.
