According to Cointelegraph, German technology company Siemens has partnered with Microsoft to launch a generative artificial intelligence (AI) assistant called Siemens Industrial Copilot. On October 31, the two companies unveiled this AI assistant designed to promote "human-machine collaboration" to improve productivity. At the same time, they also revealed that they are developing more AI assistants for professionals in industries such as manufacturing, medical care, transportation and infrastructure. The two companies said their goal is to bring the advantages of generative AI to industries around the world. In the manufacturing sector, they plan to provide Copilot assistants for areas such as automobiles, consumer goods packaging and machinery manufacturing. Microsoft said that German automaker Schaeffler AG has adopted Siemens Industrial Copilot. Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella said he believes that the next generation of AI will be able to accelerate innovation across the industrial sector.
