ChainCatcher reported that the Arbitrum Foundation announced the "Road to Devcon" plan to increase its attention to the Asian market and regard the growth of this region as its "strategic bet." The Foundation pointed out that Asia's rapidly growing developer community and the adoption rate of retail cryptocurrencies are increasing, so it launched a three-pronged campaign to prepare for Devcon in Bangkok in 2024. ArbiLink, two face-to-face events held in Vietnam and Indonesia, will provide opportunities to connect with the rapidly growing local developer communities.

According to Github data, the number of developers in these two regions has increased by 31% and 34% year-on-year respectively. Meanwhile, the "Step Into Arbitrum" learning and earning rewards event will invite participants to familiarize themselves with the Arbitrum SDK through five modules. This will be followed by a rewards event in October, encouraging developers to test their knowledge of the Arbitrum SDK through programming and building decentralized applications (dapps). Arbitrum's "Road to Devcon" program follows its Asian tour, including the first Arbitrum Night event in Tokyo, which showcased 15 games and NFT projects based on the chain.

Other activities included a booth in partnership with ApeChain and the first high-level roundtable hosted during Korea Blockchain Week. In addition, Arbitrum held its first ArbiVerse event at the ArtScience Museum in Singapore, showcasing 11 select partners including Ubisoft, Azuki and ApeChain.
