🚨 Jim Cramer, host of CNBC's Mad Money and former hedge fund manager, continued his recent bearish view on cryptocurrencies on Tuesday evening. This is in stark contrast to what another hedge fund manager said on CNBC the same day.
"I can't go out with gold because gold is no good; I can't go out with Bitcoin [BTC] because I can't be in something where Mr. Bitcoin is going to have a big drop," Cramer said.
It's unclear whether "Mr. Bitcoin" was referring to the ongoing Sam Bankman-Fried feud or bitcoin in general, but Cramer's bearish view was clear.
While Bitcoin is far from the all-time high of $68,000 reached during the 2021 bull market, the cryptocurrency has gained 68% since the beginning of the year.
Cramer stated in June 2021 that he sold most of his bitcoin assets following China's crackdown on crypto miners. During the same period, he said that bitcoin had structural problems and its price would probably fall further.
Appearing on CNBC on Tuesday, billionaire hedge fund mogul Paul Tudor Jones said he is a fan of both bitcoin and gold due to intense geopolitical risk and rising US government debt levels. 💰📉
