The founder and former CEO of bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), will have a 15-day trial in October to defend against multiple charges brought against him by the US Department of Justice (DOJ).
The trial calendar released in late September shows SBF's trial will begin today (October 3) with jury selection, with opening statements to be made on October 4. The remaining trial dates this week are October 5 and 6.
The trial will continue until early November and could be extended until 2024 if the case is not concluded by then.
