PANews reported on September 11 that LayerZero co-founder and CEO Bryan Pellegrino said on the X platform that regarding the FTX lawsuit, the entire lawsuit is full of unconfirmed claims. LayerZero has been communicating with FTX liquidators for nearly a year and has tried to proactively resolve the share ownership issue with them many times, but has been ignored. The purpose of their lawsuit is not to resolve the problem, but to prolong the process in the hope of obtaining more legal fees. Pellegrino said that any claims of "illegal" withdrawals are false.
Earlier yesterday, FTX creditor @sunil_trades stated that FTX has filed a recovery lawsuit against LayerZero.
