$ETH Is Sitting Right on $2,500, and That’s the Whole Story 🎯

Crossing $2,500 is a headline. Holding it is the trade.

$ETH is at 2,500 USDT, up just 0.36% on the day. It’s barely above the line after Thursday’s flush, which wiped out $356M in ETH positions.

🔹 Pivot: $2,500, where bulls and bears are fighting
🔹 Upside: $2,550, then $2,650 if buyers take control
🔹 Downside: lose the ~$2,490 flush low and sellers get the next move
🔹 Headwind: ETH ETFs lost $201.9M on Oct 6 and $160.9M on Oct 7

I like the resilience, but I won’t call a reversal until ETH closes above $2,550 on a daily candle. Until then, it’s a range.

Reports are circulating that Trump may announce a major development involving Russian diesel returning to global markets after talks with Putin.

⚠️ The exact claim of 4.8 million tons has NOT been officially confirmed yet, so I’m watching this closely before treating that number as fact.

But understand why this matters:

More Russian diesel supply → less pressure on the global fuel shortage → diesel/oil prices could cool.

And if energy prices start falling, transportation costs and inflation pressure can also ease.

That can eventually become positive for risk assets like stocks and crypto, especially if markets start pricing in softer inflation and less pressure on interest rates.

So the basic chain is:

More fuel supply → Oil/Diesel ↓ → Inflation pressure ↓ → Risk sentiment ↑ → Potentially positive for BTC & crypto.

But don’t rush into trades just because of one headline.

The official confirmation and the details of any sanctions agreement will matter much more.

When shorts are already liquidated and bigger holders start taking profit after a vertical move, price can reverse much faster than people expect.

So while late buyers are still looking at the green candles and thinking there’s more upside, I’m watching for the opposite move.

If selling keeps building from here, $RLC can unwind sharply back toward the area where this whole breakout started.

This is not a low-risk setup, so I’m keeping risk controlled.

The pump squeezed the shorts. Now I want to see if the market starts squeezing the late buyers. 👀
