“Don’t worry, I set a $100 daily limit for the AI.”
I’d ask: Which limit did you set?
According to the current official Binance Agentic Wallet documentation, regular trading, prediction markets, DeFi, external signing in developer mode, and x402 payments each have their own limits. You can’t just look at one dailyLimit and assume all features share a single overall budget.
For example, suppose the regular trading limit is $100 and the x402 payment limit is $20. Since they’re calculated separately, you can’t interpret the first $100 as a single cap for every feature in the wallet.
That doesn’t mean you can definitely spend $120 in practice, or that your maximum possible loss is $120. The balance, specific strategies, other enabled features, fees, and other conditions still need to be considered separately; the image isn’t showing my wallet settings.
I actually think separate budgets are useful: setting aside a budget for the AI to pay for tools, and allowing it to trade with a separate amount, are decisions that should be made independently.
If all you want this time is to know “how much of a certain coin could I get,” the documentation distinguishes between quotes and actual swaps. A quote doesn’t execute a trade, so there’s no need to push the demo all the way to exchanging your money just to show off what the AI can do.
But “quote only” is a requirement for this particular task; don’t assume that a paired session is inherently read-only. Pairing to log in requires verifying the pairing code in the app; the specific security configuration also depends on the actual settings. The wallet settings in the documentation can only read settings; changes must be made in the app.
So I’d first be clear about what I want it to do, then verify the relevant feature, amount, and session expiry. Don’t enable everything first and only ask “Wasn’t there a limit set?” after something goes wrong.
This is a verification of the official documentation only; I did not install anything, connect a wallet, authorize anything, or test a transaction. The illustration does not represent the app interface, and the example limits in the documentation are not your default values.
