The Agent Economy Needs More Than Intelligence It Needs Trust, Coordination, and Execution.
The next phase of AI may not be defined by chatbots that simply answer questions, but by agents that can take action, coordinate with other systems, and complete tasks with less human intervention.
But there is a deeper challenge: intelligence alone does not make an agent economy work.
For autonomous agents to become genuinely useful, they need reliable infrastructure, clear permissions, verifiable actions, and ways to coordinate across complex workflows. Without these foundations, adding more capable agents could also add more complexity and risk.
This is where Kite deserves a closer look. Rather than viewing the agent economy only through the lens of AI models, we should examine the infrastructure that could help agents operate, interact, and deliver useful outcomes in the real world.
The important question is not simply how smart an agent can become. It is whether we can build an environment where agents can act reliably, coordinate transparently, and earn trust.
My view: the long-term opportunity in the agent economy will depend on the quality of its infrastructure as much as the intelligence of its agents. The real test is whether autonomous systems can move from impressive demonstrations to dependable execution.
What do you think will be the biggest bottleneck for the agent economy: agent intelligence, coordination, verification, or trust?
AI Agents Need More Than Intelligence — They Need a Way to Earn Our Trust.
The more I explore the AI agent space, the more I realize something: building an agent that can answer questions is one thing. Building an agent that can actually help us get things done is a much bigger challenge.
Imagine AI agents that can handle repetitive tasks, work with different tools, and coordinate with other agents while we focus on the bigger picture. Sounds exciting, right? But there’s still a lot to figure out.
How do we know an agent is doing what it’s supposed to do? How can we give it useful permissions without giving it too much control? And how can people trust agents with tasks that really matter?
That’s why I find Kite and the growing agent economy worth paying attention to. The interesting part isn’t just the idea of more AI agents. It’s the challenge of making them useful, dependable, and practical in everyday life.
For me, the next stage of this space should be about real utility, transparency, and trust—not just impressive demos or big promises.
AI agents may change how we work online, but their long-term usefulness will depend on the problems they can reliably solve.
💬 I’m curious about your perspective: What will matter most for the future of AI agents—better technology, stronger security, or greater trust from users?
I’m interested in how Square can keep making everyday payments and small-business tools simpler, faster, and more accessible. Clear pricing, reliable support, and a smooth user experience matter most to me. $CASH
Square’s ecosystem has the potential to make financial tools more useful for people and small businesses that are often underserved by traditional systems. I appreciate the focus on making payments, point-of-sale tools, banking features, and commerce software easier to access in one place. The long-term opportunity is not only processing transactions, but helping sellers operate more efficiently and helping customers manage money with more clarity. Continued improvements in support responsiveness, transparent pricing, reliability during high-volume periods, and simple product education would make that value even stronger. Thoughtful execution matters as much as new features, especially when businesses depend on these tools every day. $CASH
The next generation of DeFi will need infrastructure that can support more than basic transactions. It will need flexible financial products, efficient capital utilization, and composable systems that can interact across a growing blockchain ecosystem. TermMax is working in this direction by developing on-chain financial infrastructure and structured strategies. @TermMax is an interesting project to watch because its work sits at the intersection of decentralized technology and advanced financial applications. As blockchain adoption expands, the demand for sophisticated and transparent financial tools could continue to grow. I’m following @TermMax to see how the ecosystem evolves and what new possibilities TermMax can bring to decentralized finance. #TermMax

I’ve been investing for about 8 months, mostly buying stocks I personally use and understand, but I keep wondering if that’s too narrow of an approach. How do you know when a company is genuinely a good long-term investment versus just a brand you happen to like as a customer? #MyStocksQuestion
I’ve been trying to build a more disciplined investing routine this year, but I still get distracted by hype around trending US stocks. How do you create a process for filtering out noise and deciding which opportunities are actually worth researching further? #MyStocksQuestion
I’ve noticed that whenever a stock I own drops sharply, I immediately start looking for reasons to defend it instead of reassessing it objectively. For more experienced investors, how do you separate conviction from emotional attachment when managing your portfolio? #MyStocksQuestion
I’m someone who prefers steady progress over high-risk bets, which is why ETFs appeal to me, but I also worry that being too diversified might limit meaningful returns. How do you personally find the balance between diversification and concentration in a portfolio? #MyStocksQuestion
After about a year of investing, I realized I understand price movement much better than I understand valuation. When looking at a US stock, what are the most important signs that it’s overpriced or undervalued for someone who is not from a finance background? #MyStocksQuestion
I’m still fairly new to US stocks, and one thing I struggle with is knowing whether I’m being patient or just ignoring warning signs. If a stock thesis hasn’t played out after several months, how do you evaluate whether to keep holding or admit the idea was wrong? #MyStocksQuestion
I started exploring ETFs after realizing I was spending too much time second-guessing individual stock picks. For someone like me who wants growth but also wants to sleep well during market volatility, how do you decide between broad market ETFs and more focused sector ETFs? #MyStocksQuestion
I’ve been dollar-cost averaging into a few positions, but I’m unsure whether that strategy still makes sense when the market feels expensive overall. Do you keep investing on schedule no matter what, or do you adjust your approach when valuations across the market seem stretched? #MyStocksQuestion
I’m trying to understand whether the biggest edge in US stock and ETF investing comes from identifying opportunity early or from holding conviction longer than the market is comfortable with. For those with more experience, where do you think real outperformance usually comes from: discovery, timing, position sizing, or patience? #MyStocksQuestion
As someone who has mainly focused on crypto, I’m now exploring US stocks and ETFs to build a more balanced long-term portfolio. One thing I’m still trying to understand is how experienced investors separate strong fundamentals from short-term market hype. When evaluating a US stock or ETF, which factors matter most for long-term conviction, and how do you avoid being influenced too much by headlines or momentum? #MyStocksQuestion
