$PEPE : Volume doubled. Has the rebound earned more conviction?
Midday meme watch | 12 Oct, 12:01 Dubai snapshot
PEPE is the strongest mover in today's six-coin sample: +6.22% over Binance's rolling 24h window, versus DOGE +2.89%, WIF +2.88%, BONK +2.36%, SHIB +1.85% and FLOKI +1.03%. BTC gained 0.99%. This is a selected comparison, not an exchange-wide trending ranking.
The more interesting development is participation. PEPE/USDT's completed 11 Oct UTC candle closed at 0.00000422 USDT, up from 0.00000404 on 10 Oct. Spot quote turnover increased from 8.54M to 17.20M USDT—about 101%—alongside that higher close.
But zoom out one more day: turnover on 9 Oct was 18.48M USDT. Sunday's activity recovered sharply from Saturday's quiet session; it did not exceed Friday's level. A low comparison base can make a volume headline sound stronger than it is.
At the snapshot, PEPE traded at 0.00000427 USDT. My next check is whether another completed daily session can sustain both the higher close and stronger participation. Today's unfinished candle cannot settle that question. No fresh listing or project catalyst is assumed.
Downside: a return to fading turnover would weaken the participation thesis. Meme rotation and broader-market selling can reverse gains quickly; turnover is traded value, not net inflow or guaranteed liquidity. This remains a speculative watchlist idea, not a buy signal.
Would one high-volume recovery day earn PEPE a place on your watchlist, or do you need a second session of confirmation?
