đŁđđĽđ§ đŽ
In Part 1, we learned how to approach the chart from the top down:
đđŽđśđšđ â đ°đ â đđ â đđąđ
But knowing the timeframe isn't enough.
You also need to understand what price is actually doing.
Thatâs where đ đđĽđđđ§ đŚđ§đĽđ¨đđ§đ¨đĽđ comes in.
Before indicators, patterns, or entries, learn to read the story price creates through its highs and lows.
đŚđ˘, đŞđđđ§ đđŚ đ đđĽđđđ§ đŚđ§đĽđ¨đđ§đ¨đĽđ?
Keep it simple.
Ask two questions:
đđ đ˝đżđśđ°đ˛ đşđŽđ¸đśđťđ´ đđśđ´đľđ˛đż đđśđ´đľđ + đđśđ´đľđ˛đż đđźđđ?
Or...
đđźđđ˛đż đđśđ´đľđ + đđźđđ˛đż đđźđđ?
That alone tells you a lot.
đ đđ¨đđđđŚđ đŚđ§đĽđ¨đđ§đ¨đĽđ
Imagine BTC moves:
$80K â $85K â $82K â $88K â $85K â higher.
Youâre seeing:
đđ â đđ â đđ â đđ
Thatâs bullish structure.
Buyers are stepping in at progressively higher levels.
đ đđđđĽđđŚđ đŚđ§đĽđ¨đđ§đ¨đĽđ
Now flip the scenario:
$88K â $83K â $86K â $80K â $83K â lower.
Youâre seeing:
đđ â đđ â đđ â đđ
Thatâs bearish structure.
Sellers continue defending lower levels.
đđ¨đ§ đđđĽđâđŚ đ§đđ đ§đĽđđŁ...
One green candle doesn't make a market bullish.
One red candle doesn't make it bearish.
Structure is about the đđ˛đžđđ˛đťđ°đ˛ đźđł đśđşđ˝đźđżđđŽđťđ đľđśđ´đľđ đŽđťđą đšđźđđ.
And remember:
A market can remain bullish on the Daily while looking bearish on the 1H.
That lower-timeframe weakness could simply be a pullbackânot a complete reversal.
So instead of asking:
âIs price going down?â
Ask:
âđđŽđ đđľđ˛ đđđżđđ°đđđżđ˛ đŽđ°đđđŽđšđšđ đ°đľđŽđťđ´đ˛đą?â
đŞđđđ§ đđ đ§đđ đ đđĽđđđ§ đđŚ đ đ˘đŠđđĄđ đŚđđđđŞđđŹđŚ?
Not every market is trending.
Sometimes price simply moves between a clear high and low without forming consistent HH/HL or LH/LL sequences.
Thatâs a đżđŽđťđ´đ˛.
And your approach should change with the environment.
A ranging market shouldn't automatically be traded like a strong trend.
đĄđ˘đŞ đŞđđ§đđ đ§đđđŚ...
Suppose BTC is forming:
đđ â đđ â đđ â đđ
Then price suddenly breaks below the previous higher low.
Don't immediately scream:
âSHORT!â
Instead, think:
âđŚđźđşđ˛đđľđśđťđ´ đ°đľđŽđťđ´đ˛đą. đĄđźđ đ đťđ˛đ˛đą đ°đźđťđłđśđżđşđŽđđśđźđť.â
Does price continue printing LH + LL?
Or does it reclaim the broken level and continue the bullish structure?
Thatâs the difference between simply watching candles and actually reading price action.
đŹđ˘đ¨đĽ đŚđđ đŁđđ đđđđđđđđŚđ§ đđť
1ď¸âŁ Identify the major swing highs.
2ď¸âŁ Identify the major swing lows.
3ď¸âŁ Are we forming HH + HL or LH + LL?
4ď¸âŁ Is the market trending or ranging?
5ď¸âŁ Has structure truly changedâor is this just a pullback?
If you can answer these questions, youâre already reading the chart differently.
And remember:
đŚđđżđđ°đđđżđ˛ đąđźđ˛đđťâđ đ´đśđđ˛ đđźđ đđľđ˛ đ˛đťđđżđ.
It tells you đđľđŽđ đ¸đśđťđą đźđł đşđŽđżđ¸đ˛đ youâre dealing with.
Next comes the question that can make or break a trade:
đŞđđđĽđ đŚđđ˘đ¨đđ đŹđ˘đ¨ đđđ§đ¨đđđđŹ đđ˘đ˘đ đđ˘đĽ đ đ§đĽđđđ?
You can get the trend right and still enter in the worst location.
Thatâs where đđ˘đđđ§đđ˘đĄ + đđđ¤đ¨đđđđ§đŹ come in.
đŁđđĽđ§ đŻ will break it down.
