Reminder: Only follow with an amount that you can comfortably bear. During the initial building/entry phase, it’s possible to incur losses if the market timing is off. Ideally, once you follow, keep following consistently. Also make sure you have sufficient funds to add if your capital goes into drawdown. In the long run, the chances of profitability will be higher

Yesterday, the structure of ETF outflows was more worth watching than the headline total. Farside data shows that on October 13, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $65.4 million, all from BlackRock’s IBIT, while all other products had zero inflows and zero outflows. Ethereum ETFs saw total net outflows of $85.4 million. The bulk came from BlackRock’s ETHA, which had $75.1 million in outflows, while another Ethereum ETF with the ticker ETH saw a further $10.3 million leave. But the market paid no attention to these figures. In early Binance trading, BTC was around $83,191, up 1.39% over 24 hours; ETH was at $2,498, up 1.49%. ETFs are seeing outflows while spot prices are rising. Perhaps redemptions haven’t flowed through to the spot market yet, or perhaps other sources of capital are absorbing the supply. What I’d rather watch is how the structure develops: if BTC stays above $83K while ETFs continue to see outflows, demand may be coming more from leverage or stablecoins. If that structure breaks, the reversal could be faster, too. For now, the key thing to watch today is whether a second issuer sees outflows. If flows turn positive, yesterday was an isolated blip; if outflows continue in one direction, then it’s time to reassess.
The dollar index has been pretty volatile lately, so I’m thinking of exchanging some foreign currency by the school gate. I wonder if the cafeteria lady will accept the brand-new U.S. banknotes? Also, I see everyone using domestic AI, but I honestly only use Grok, Claude, and GPT to analyze data. Nothing against anything else—it’s just more convenient for interpreting Wall Street Journal research reports with them, so… it’s a bit of a bind, you know? What other people played at 19: Honor of Kings, Valorant, Delta Force What I played at 19: U.S. stocks, options, CFA What my peers carry in their pockets when they go out: phone, keys, earbuds What I take with me when I go out: MacBook Pro, a hardware security key (U2F), Casarte (I don’t smoke normally, only when I’m watching the markets to stay alert), her hair tie (she insisted I carry it, says it’ll ward off romantic admirers), so… seriously, you know?
A new weekly candle opened today. The weekly MACD slow line is turning upward, and the market trend is bullish.
The current move is a 16-hour rebound. The risk is that the daily chart is still at a high level. If the price rebounds directly but the move fails to continue, it will very likely retest the daily chart’s support.
Personally, I still recommend focusing on buying dips. Consider small short positions only above 86,000.
The price retested 80,300 below, which is within the weekly support zone. There was a rebound, but it was weak.
If you want to trade: Below: 82828 81777 80800 78800 You can consider buying at any of these levels. Watch the risk if the price breaks below 78,000; don’t stubbornly hold on.
Resistance zones above: 84200 84500 85500 86600
In the current market, both longs and shorts can easily get caught out. Risk is high~~If you’re using a large position, be sure to manage your risk.
The Pentagon issued an order days ago: get Central Command ready to resume large-scale military operations against Iran.
That’s according to Axios. The directive didn’t specify a date for any strikes, and Trump hasn’t made a final decision. That same day, he said he wasn’t seeking a deal with Iran.
Markets reacted immediately: Brent crude at $101.19 (+1.4%), 30-year Treasury yields hovering at their highest level since 2002, and the dollar index climbing toward a new high for the year. Risk assets moved the other way, with BTC at around 82,717, down 1.75% over 24 hours. It’s not a crash, but the direction is clear: money is pricing in “geopolitical escalation.”
Timing is key: the report says a window for strikes could fall before the November 3 midterm elections. So this isn’t just a military story—it comes with a political clock.
The anticipation phase is the most exciting—and the easiest to be fooled by. Three things really need watching: whether Iran strikes first, whether oil tankers keep passing through the Strait of Hormuz, and whether long-term interest rates continue to pressure risk assets.
