Why are some people willing to lock up their tokens for years?
My understanding: Convex’s role is to pool scattered CRV and lock it permanently, so users who don’t want to lock their tokens for 4 years themselves can still indirectly share in the boosted returns.
veCRV is non-transferable, and its balance decreases linearly with the remaining lock-up period, reaching zero when the lock expires.

· $LUMIA +33.10%
· $CHIP +28.85%
· TIA +26.69%
· AERO +15.68%
I don’t hold any of the coins above. Lists like this make it so easy to get itchy fingers and want to chase the top performer. But after learning that lesson the hard way, I’ve realized the top gainer is often also the one with the biggest pullback.
