A ratio above 1 means a higher proportion of traders are going long; below 1 means a higher proportion are going short. But most importantly, the more one-sided the numbers are, the more cautious you should be about a move in the opposite direction.

🐋 The $APR 4-hour MACD forms a golden cross above the zero line, with 11 consecutive reverse bars before the crossover.
Crossover signals are posted every day; what matters is the crossover’s position and the preceding trend.
MACD was developed by Gerald Appel. Its default parameters are 12, 26, and 9, and it measures trend strength using the difference between the fast and slow EMAs.
Calculating position size based on the stop-loss distance is much more reliable than guessing.

Let me share a mistake I made: I didn’t understand this back then.
The first reference in Bitcoin’s white paper is Wei Dai’s b-money.
b-money proposed a ledger maintained collectively by a group of pseudonymous participants, with new money created by solving computational puzzles. You can see similarities between these ideas and Bitcoin later on.
$BTC ’s white paper cites Wei Dai’s b-money as its very first reference.
