BTC at 81K: Are institutions selling? My hot take for SundayWhat’s going on? Bitcoin hit 81K again today, but started showing a pretty significant negative premium on Binance Spot.
This is a sign that institutions are selling or taking profits, while retail is buying the top. On the 1D chart I put on the cover, you can see highs at 81,160, but volume falling to 1.92B.
My Sunday radar:
1. Strong support at 80,600 — if it breaks, that opens the door to 79,100. 2. Immediate resistance at 81,200 — that’s where I’ve seen a lot of selling over the past 3 hours. 3. If it closes the day above 81K on high volume, I’m buying. If not, I’m staying out.
