The Top Female in the Crypto World|What Makes He Yi the 'Sister'?
If there is a goddess in the crypto world, He Yi is definitely not a 'marketing persona' but an OG Queen 👑 forged through real effort.
She didn't rise to fame through labels but through hardcore execution and a strategic vision that transcends cycles, step by step establishing herself as an industry benchmark.
🎙️ From a host at CCTV Finance to co-founder of Binance, this is a cross-industry leap that many can't even imagine.
In 2014, she gave up a stable job and jumped into the muddy waters of the crypto world, where Bitcoin was still just a small circle of geeks and idealists, yet she entered when it was least favored.
She bet on the future and won the trend.
Later, she partnered with CZ to found Binance, responsible for the core areas of 'brand, community, and globalization.' She was not just an operator behind the scenes but a core decision-maker 'on the front line':
Connecting global communities Building a bridge between Chinese content and international users Establishing platform trust through live streams, AMAs, and Twitter Driving Binance to become the largest exchange in the world
Her statement 'Binance is everyone's Binance' has touched countless users, making retail investors willing to 'trust once more' during crises.
💬 She never plays the 'victim' or relies on the 'female entrepreneur' label to attract traffic. She has repeatedly emphasized in public: 'Whether you can get things done is not because you are a woman, but whether you can drive things to happen.' She is one of the few who can retain users' attention in a tech-dominated industry through 'content + consensus.' She transformed Binance's brand from a 'cold, centralized platform' to a 'trusted community' without relying on traffic but on deep human understanding + high-intensity execution. 📌 She is one of the few 'articulate, capable, and action-oriented' OGs in the circle.
On social media, she is very outspoken and sincere, occasionally dropping golden quotes for people to ponder:
'If you don’t sell, it’s not a loss.'
'You either love it or leave it. The middle ground is reserved for liquidated retail investors.'
'Not doing anything in a bear market means you’re not even worthy of doubling down in a bull market.'
This is not showing off; it’s a summary—she is the one who has experienced the complete cycle from zero, and what she says, she has truly lived through.
I just came across this post from Keplr Another one-click login fiasco 😅
The team says some wallets created by signing in with Google or Apple have had unauthorized transactions Both social login options have been suspended for now They’re investigating with Web3Auth
The good news is wallets restored with a recovery phrase and hardware wallets appear unaffected based on the initial assessment
If you created your account by tapping “Sign in with Google/Apple” don’t add any more funds to it and don’t rush to import it elsewhere and recreate it Treat any unofficial recovery links as scams
Convenience and keeping the keys out of your own hands will always be a toxic pairing I’m putting social-login wallets on my blacklist
Came across this Hong Kong news at noon: The SFC is tightening the rules around names again 😅
The consultation has wrapped up and they’re preparing to amend two ordinances. Unlicensed firms won’t be able to casually use combined terms like “crypto exchange” or “virtual asset trading platform.”
Using “crypto” on its own may not necessarily count, but pair it with “exchange,” “trading platform,” or “clearing house,” and people could easily think the firm is licensed. That line needs to be clearly drawn.
It still has to pass the Legislative Council, then there’ll be a six-month grace period. It doesn’t take effect tonight.
Hong Kong’s approach is starting to look more and more like nailing the doorframe shut first, then discussing who gets to come in. I’ll just make a note of it for now—no rush to read it as bullish or bearish.
Just made instant noodles for lunch and came across Strive ASST’s Q3 earnings report 🍜
Q3 net profit: about $509 million My first reaction was, this company makes a ton of money Then I looked closer: revenue was only $2.7 million Nearly all the profit came from about $534 million in unrealized gains on Bitcoin
They picked up another 15,124 coins in October Bringing their total to 43,124 BTC as of October 30 Just 877 coins behind the second-largest Bitcoin holder among publicly traded companies
The awkward part is The average purchase price for the Q3 batch was about $78,885 Now $BTC is hovering around $75,800 They’ll probably have to give back some of this quarter’s paper gains next quarter
Earnings reports from companies that hoard Bitcoin Are, at the end of the day, just a reflection of the coin’s price I’ll wait and see if they buy more next month
Saw this morning that the valuation got cut again 😅
Anthropic’s IPO A month ago, people were still talking about around 2 trillion Now more people in the industry are saying 1.2 to 1.3 trillion Some are even calling for something close to 1 trillion
After the Nasdaq dampened AI sentiment this week, the roadshow is still on track to start before Thanksgiving as planned But pricing isn’t nearly as firm anymore
On the more crypto-native side, Ondo says that on Anthropic’s first day of trading, it will offer eligible non-U.S. investors tokenized exposure using a stock-backed note structure The on-chain market has its eye on ANT
I’m not guessing where it’ll ultimately price I just think the AI narrative and on-chain stocks have become intertwined again over the past few days
Came across something pretty painful this morning 😮
Former Financial Services Committee Chair McHenry appeared on Bloomberg TV and said outright that the crypto industry blew its best chance this year to pass market structure legislation
The Clarity Act passed the House with bipartisan support last July but then got stuck in the pursuit of a perfect bill and a workable compromise was rejected He admitted he bore some responsibility too
So what happened? No legislation this year Democrats take control of Congress next January and reaching a deal on regulation could get even harder The SEC and CFTC can only put forward their own proposals to fill the gap for now
I’m not calling a direction Just remember one thing: When a window closes, it closes
Came across another funding headline last night This time, they didn’t cut the target 😮
The first $11 billion of OpenAI’s latest round has officially closed At an estimated valuation of $1.25 trillion
The round hasn’t closed yet It could expand to around $20 billion over the next few weeks The March round was about $122 billion at an $852 billion valuation Now the valuation has climbed another notch
AI stocks in the public markets have been pretty shaky this week NVDA has been swinging too But money is still flowing into private markets
The CFO says they’ll keep pouring money into data center investments I’m not chasing the hype Just noting it down for now
Just saw the regulatory news A little less strict than expected 😮
FinCEN and the Federal Reserve have withdrawn their 2020 proposal that would have lowered the Travel Rule threshold for cross-border transfers from $3,000 to $250
The threshold stays at $3,000 Small cross-border transfers won’t need an extra layer of identity checks
The proposal had been pending for over five years The industry has changed They received nearly 3,000 public comments, by the estimate Officials say they’ll seek feedback again before revisiting it
Last month, they also withdrew the two proposals on unhosted wallets and mixing This is another old issue put to rest
I’ll make a note of it Not exactly cause for celebration
Just came across a pretty quiet but significant update: The Russian Central Bank has finalized its list 😅
There are only three crypto assets on the official list for non-qualified investors: Bitcoin BTC Ethereum ETH and USDT
The directive takes effect on November 17. Exchanges can offer these three for public trading. For ordinary investors, the annual limit is 300,000 rubles per intermediary— roughly $3,700. There’s no limit for qualified investors. Everyone must pass a test and receive a risk disclosure before trading.
The Moscow Exchange also plans to launch a digital currency market on December 1, starting with BTC, ETH, and USDT. Trading hours will be similar to the stock market: 6:50 a.m. to 11:50 p.m. Moscow time.
The criteria for selecting coins are pretty rigorous: market cap, average daily trading volume, and at least five years of overseas market data. I’ll make a note of it for now—no rush to interpret.
Just finished checking the jobs report Still clutching my phone 😅
The market was expecting a little over 60K But October came in at +165K Unemployment: 4.1% Hourly earnings: +0.4% month over month, +3.1% year over year August and September were also revised up by about 84K
That’s a pretty hot number CME’s odds of a December rate hike got pushed up to around 78–79%
The Nasdaq rebounded about 1.7% to 1.9% during the day BTC broke above 76.1K, then pulled back Now it’s still hovering around 75.5K–75.8K
Last week’s tech selloff hasn’t even worn off yet And tonight we get another stronger-than-expected jobs report I’ll keep an eye on the market No rush to make a move
Just came across a regulatory update My first thought was, here we go again Then I opened it—and it’s pretty substantial
The U.S. Department of Labor has sent its final rule on alternative assets in 401(k) plans To the White House OIRA for final review Including crypto, private equity, real estate, and the like
A safe harbor for fiduciaries Pass six tests, and alternative assets can be added to the menu Performance, fees, liquidity, valuation, benchmarks, and complexity
It hasn’t formally taken effect yet But the direction is pretty clear That pool of retirement-account money is huge We’ll see what happens if and when it’s implemented
Just saw Bittensor roll out quantum-resistant wallets
Three new signature schemes ML-DSA-65, plus Falcon-512 / 1024 Covering transfers, staking, and validators
Existing wallets still work No forced migration You can enable automatic signature key rotation Addresses, balances, and staking remain unchanged
The code is already on mainnet Not all the features are enabled yet Worth making a note of it Quantum computing is still a long way off, but they’ve already laid the groundwork
I just came across the news that Nigeria’s central bank has raised the bar for stablecoins quite significantly.
USD stablecoin issuers need at least around ₦15 billion — a little over $10 million. They also have to be locally registered, with a physical office and local management.
Naira-pegged stablecoins need around ₦10 billion. Other non-securities VASPs need around ₦1 billion. These are calculated separately from the securities regulator’s capital requirements—you can’t use the same funds to meet both.
The rules are even stricter for P2P. You need separate approval, and your name and BVN must match your naira bank account before coins can be released. Accounts using aliases are simply not allowed.
P2P is a pretty sizable market in Africa. With the bar set this high, we’ll have to wait and see who can actually make it work.
I came across a bunch of alerts tonight Almost thought they were just clickbait again Turns out it’s real
iOS has an exploit kit called DarkSword On unpatched versions 18.4 through 18.7 Just tap a malicious link in Safari And data from your Keychain, Photos, Notes, and Wallet can all be stolen
On-chain trackers have already traced over four million USDT being transferred out The security team is sounding the alarm: Update your system ASAP
My phone’s still on an old version I’m going to hit that update button tonight My wallet matters more than saving face
Just came across the earnings call notes: Core Scientific (CORZ) said it’ll wrap up mining in Q4 and go all-in on AI hosting in 2027
Q3 revenue was about $232.9 million Hosting brought in $215.4 million, nearly 92% Mining contributed just $17.5 million, about 7.5% The number of active miners is down nearly half from the end of last year
AI data centers are filling up on one side while semiconductor stocks were getting hammered that day This whole miners-selling-their-shovels-and-pivoting-to-a-new-field story has played out way too many times this year
Just saw the institutional fund flow table flip again 😅
November 5, U.S. Eastern Time U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs Saw net outflows of about $430 million in a single day
Fidelity’s FBTC was first out the door With about $200 million in net outflows BlackRock BLK’s IBIT Also saw outflows of about $105 million
Spot Ethereum ETFs weren’t idle either Total net outflows of about $99.9 million BlackRock’s ETHA alone accounted for about $75.2 million
The day before, they had just seen inflows of about $276 million Then the next day, the money was pulled right back out Institutional moves are more erratic than my moods
$BTC The market is still hovering around 75,000 The money moved first
I’ll just note the numbers for now No rush to interpret them
This round locked up about 1,005 BTC More than Bond 1 and Bond 2 combined About 1,740 BTC across all three rounds
Participants include institutional ETP issuer 21Shares And publicly listed company Bullish (BLSH), with BTC in its treasury They reportedly took BTC from their custody wallet to participate They still hold about 22,000 BTC
The mechanism is roughly: Lock up BTC on Bitcoin mainnet with a timelock And add STX worth about 5% of the BTC Lockup period of about 6 months Target APY of about 3% Yield paid out in BTC weekly, with no slashing
People in the group are saying institutions are finally willing to put BTC into this kind of structure Bond 4 is expected to open again on December 3
Just making a note for now I'll wait to see the size of the next offering and whether the actual yields materialize
World Liberty Financial is launching a token buyback Funding may include reserve fees from the USD1 stablecoin The official line is that they want to shift governance toward long-term holders
People in the group are already chanting “Burn baby burn” The token price is down around 60% this year It dipped again after the midterm elections Current price is about $0.046
They actually passed a buyback proposal back in September 2025, too It was about $10 million, equivalent to roughly 59 million tokens That proposal got 99.8% approval
A buyback isn’t an instant turnaround button But at least it shows the project is taking action on token supply and demand
I’ll make a note of it Let’s see how the execution timeline and scale shape up
After Democrats took Congress, Elizabeth Warren is widely expected to chair the Senate Banking Committee.
The Banking Committee can schedule hearings and slow down the progress of finance-related bills. It’s tied to all those discussions about crypto market structure.
She’s always taken a tough stance on crypto and has opposed some more lenient versions of bills before. The new Congress probably won’t officially get to work until January next year, so this is still an expectation, not a done deal.
People in the group are already arguing: some say things will get tougher, while others say big institutions will push ahead with getting the rules in place anyway.
Just making a note of it for now. No need to jump to conclusions before the appointment is official.
