## Quick Summary
I transferred USDT to a BNB Chain address that I didn’t control with the key I had. It looked lost. But by understanding the wallet architecture, CREATE2, and the signing protocol of a Safe, I managed to recover the full $266 — with less than $0.02 in gas costs.
## The mistake
A transfer that seemed routine ended up at the wrong address. The balance: 251.39 USDT, withdrawn from Binance and sent to an address on BNB Chain.
I was away for personal reasons. Thanks for your patience; I’m back with a new QNT analysis. The last post corrected the map: the 12-hour long-side accuracy was 66%, not 74%. I’m resuming that series cautiously: QNT is at $198.35, down 13.34% from the $228.88 in the analysis on 12-10. These zones are estimates, not observed liquidations. Over 24 hours, the price rose 2.51% and OI in contracts grew 1.66%, to 156,354 QNT. But since the 12-10 post, OI is down 5.45%: today’s move has not yet reversed the period’s reduction in positions. Funding is barely positive (+0.0053% projected). Positioning is split: 47.7% of accounts are long, but top traders still hold 65.2% of their positions long. The order book has $3.21 million in depth versus $70.67 million in futures volume: 22 rotations and 6.80% coverage in the range queried. Limited liquidity; it’s not a wall. My read: the price is between the nearby short liquidation zone at $199.38 (27%) and long liquidation zone at $197.32 (35%); both are weak. If it closes above $201.34 with OI growing, the next estimated zone is $207.32. If it falls below $195.36 with OI growing, the next is $189.38. Until confirmed, the rebound is not a trend reversal. I changed the map code, and the number I posted last week was wrong. The error: when I rewrote the shared module from scratch, I forgot one correction. A zone’s weight needs to be divided by leverage, because a leveraged position occupies a narrower range than an unleveraged one. Without that division, the zones came out thirty dollars lower. With the correction, the long side is right 66% of the time at 12 hours. I had posted 74%. The effect is still there: the long side improves over time, while the short side runs out of steam. But it’s smaller than I said. What took three days wasn’t the code—it was failing to compare the module against the chart before running the backtest. QNT at $228.88, with accounts 48.2% long for the first time in days. Data: Binance API, 12-10-2026 21:00 UTC. Estimated zones. NFA/DYOR. $QNT

The same map I apply to QNT today tells me the opposite about BTC. Up there, there was a short zone. Here, there isn’t. The strongest short zone has a weight of 14%; the long zone, 100%. At 0.15%, there’s a long zone with full weight. Another one farther away, at $82.2, with 84%. Above, nothing useful for a bounce. Funding is at zero. With $7.7 billion in open interest, that’s unusual: no one is leaning into a position. And the taker ratio for the last hour is 0.78, with sellers in control. The simple read would be: there’s no fuel above, and plenty below. But the backtest I ran last week says long zones work even when the market is rising, while short zones only work when the price is falling. The map doesn’t predict; it describes where leveraged positions are under pressure. The numbers: 1,260 maps, eight coins, each hour using only the information available beforehand. What I don’t measure is whether someone sees the map and trades. Data: Binance API, 2026-10-11 21:49 UTC. Estimated zones. NFA/DYOR. $BTC

There was a number I posted yesterday that didn’t add up. Short zones were accurate 66% of the time over 12 hours. It sounded solid. But that 66% mixed two things together: when the price had been falling, the number was 85%; when it had been rising, it was 54%. Huge difference. A short squeeze isn’t a zone: it’s a consequence of the market having been falling. Without that, it’s noise. Longs are a different story. They’re accurate 77% of the time even when the market is rising. There, the zone goes against the trend instead of following it. QNT is at $241.42. There’s a short zone above, but it carries 4% weight: almost nothing. Below, the long zone carries 100% weight and is 0.31% away. And funding just flipped to +0.01%. The broader context no longer supports the short zones. It took me three days to understand that a number without controls isn’t really a number. It’s an average that says everything and nothing at all. Data: Binance API, 11-10-2026. Estimated zones. NFA/DYOR. $QNT

Half an hour ago, I posted that QNT was 0.30% away from its heaviest long zone. Now it’s 0.28% away. It fell from $248.5 to $243.2 in an hour. That’s exactly what the test said: when the price enters the long zone, it doesn’t bounce—it keeps going. At 12 hours, it’s right 74% of the time. The short zone works in reverse: the bounce fades, from 100% after one candle to 66% after twelve hours. I ran the calculation 1,263 times across 8 coins, recalculating the map every hour using the information available at that point. Never looking at what came next. What this does NOT prove: that anyone sees the map and trades on it. I measured whether the price touches the zone, not how people react. QNT still has no short zones above. Only long zones below: $241.63-242.84 with all the weight, and $234.37-235.58 with 47%. If it enters, we already know what comes next. If not, the data can wait. We tested whether liquidation zones are useful for anything. Walk-forward over 1,263 maps recalculated across 8 symbols, without looking into the future. Measured after price touches the zone: - LONGS (below): price falls 58.6% at 1h, 60.5% at 3h, 63.3% at 5h, and 70.3% at 12h. The effect GROWS and returns worsen: once it enters, price doesn't bounce—it keeps going. - SHORTS (above): price rises 100% at 1h, 86% at 3h, 79.7% at 5h, and 63.7% at 12h. Yesterday I posted a level and it got fulfilled: the 01-10 break was a sweep. QNT rose 9.69% to $278.34 and then gave back almost everything within an hour. 28 of the last 31 hourly candles closed above $252.38, and the high was $278.34: just 0.11% above the map’s 100% zone. From there it reversed 13.30% in an hour, down to $241.31. And the move wasn’t only price. Open interest had been rising all day, up to 214,483 contracts, and during the sweep hour it dropped 4.47% all at once. The positions that pushed price up to $278.34 were closed in the same move. Funding ended at -0.3472%, the most negative of the last 200 contract funding payments: the last 10 were all negative, when in that history only 22% were negative. A short pays about 1% per day. That doesn’t tell you where price is going: today the short paid and gained 13% in an hour. The order book swelled to $3.28 million with daily volume of $370.2 million: 113 rotations per day and 4.50% coverage. Yesterday it was 230, with a book of $2.04 million. My read: the map already swept its 100% zone and didn’t break it, and the next two closest zones are the weakest (27% and 19%). If it closes above $257.75 with OI rising, the map points back to $278.04. If it closes below $250.29 with OI rising, the next floor is $242.59. QNT rose 7.27% in 24 hours and stalled again right at the level it broke on 01-10. That’s where it’s decided whether the break was a sweep or if the bounce is a sell. On 30-09, I left $252.38 as invalidation: it broke it, 28 hourly candles closed below, and the low was $223.51. From there it bounced 13.53% and now it’s back above the level. Open interest rose 5.23% in 24 hours to 183,260 contracts: new position, not hedging. And funding is -0.1148%: shorts pay to keep it there; 9 of the last 10 funding payments were negative, and the last settled funding was -0.1032%. This is not a floor: a short pays for weeks if it believes price will go lower. What changed is who’s on the inside: long accounts went from 48.1% to 52.6% in 24 hours, but the TOP traders’ POSITION fell from 59.2% to 57.7%. The crowd went long and big money trimmed. The order book is still very thin: $2.04M in depth versus $468.4M in daily futures volume. That’s 230 book rotations per day and 4.18% coverage. My read: the heaviest zone is above, at $277.99, and the two closest are the weakest (26% and 20%): price passes through them without slowing. This token rose 300% in a week and is 15% below the peak. What’s interesting isn’t the news: it’s who is paying for what. Quant won a contract with The Clearing House, which settles $2 trillion per day for 25 U.S. banks, for its network of tokenized deposits. That moved the price from $65 to $374.50. And then the price dropped 15%. Here’s what doesn’t make it into the headline. Open interest rose 3.76% in 24 hours, to 180,556 contracts: new positions are being opened. But funding is -0.0765%, meaning shorts pay to hold their position, and six of the last eight funding payments were negative. The price rises with more people betting against it—and those people pay. And the order book is razor-thin. $7 million in depth versus $1.586 billion in daily volume: it gets refreshed 228 times a day and only covers about 3.8% around the price. In a book like that, any level is just a number, not a wall. Cascading liquidations chain together without friction. My short-term read: bullish with a mechanism, not with hope. If it returns to $322.51, the shorts get hedged and the OI closes. Invalidation at $252.38. In the mid-term I don’t have a measured edge, and I’m not making one up: the four QNT price and OI states are measured over 744 hours that cover nearly the entire length of this rally. Collecting the condition of $BTC ayer complete: the OI expanded, the price crossed $84.674 and the target $85.505 was touched. The high was $85.650. And it wasn’t luck at a certain level; it was the mechanism I declared dead yesterday. Throughout the afternoon of the 29th, the OI contracted, and with the OI contracting my instruction was not to trade either of the two branches. The signal came today at 12:00 UTC: within an hour, 2.47% in new position entered (93.886 to 96.209 BTC) and the price crossed $84.674. The target was touched one hour later. Before that, the floor was lost: price dropped to $82.900 and bounced. The squeeze branch I left measured, 10 out of 14 times, went up correctly and marked the direction well, but the OI wasn’t expanding, so I didn’t count it as an entry. Without that condition there was no trade. Today, the state is the quadrant that has a measurable advantage: price +0.78% with OI +3.32%. In 20 days, when the OI expands with price rising, 11 out of 16 times it stayed above, +0.79% at 24h. My decision: bullish as long as the OI keeps expanding and price holds $84.339. Target $86.058, with $85.222 as the step. If it loses $84.339 while the OI is still expanding, the reading changes and looks at $83.503. The most-traded equity contract on Binance today isn’t Nvidia or Tesla: it’s Micron, with $336 million in 24 hours. Report this week. The campaign asks whether $MU is bullish or bearish at the time of the report. Positioning gives an uncomfortable answer: it’s not betting, it’s reducing. OI fell 1.58% in 24 hours while price rose 1.75%: hedging, not new money. What’s inside: retail is 57.0% long and has been trending down from 58.6%. The top traders, measured by POSITION, are 68.6% long and were at 68.4% before: a difference of eleven and a half points. And the positive funding: the remaining longs pay to stay. Here’s what forces me to be precise: in BTC, the edge shows up when OI expands. I tested it in MU over 744 hours of this perpetual, and it doesn’t hold: with OI expanding, price rose in 12 out of 23 cases and 10 out of 21. Here, the strongest branch is different: price falling with OI falling, 13 out of 20 and +0.83%. I’m not copying BTC’s rule where it doesn’t apply. Today’s setup, price rising with OI falling, gave in MU 17 out of 28 times on the upside, +0.36%: a slight, measured bias, not conviction. My decision: mildly bullish as long as it holds $1,065.21; if it breaks, the target drops to $1,054.64 and the read flips. I don’t use OI as a filter in MU because here it doesn’t have an edge. Collection of two: the bias from yesterday marked both targets and the invalidation never triggered. It printed at $82,840 with a target of $83,271 and an extension to $84,088. Now it’s at $84,236, up 1.69% (max $84,564, min $82,563). Invalidation was at $82,409 and price never touched it: it finished $154 above it. Now the uncomfortable part: the reason I gave was dead. I wrote “as long as the OI marks 24-hour highs.” Over the next 27 hours it marked highs in ONE: 4%. And it dropped 2.24% while price was rising—this is hedging, not a new position. The level was read correctly; the mechanism I claimed didn’t move price. I measured the four price and OI states over 20 days. It’s more useful than the signal I posted: when OI EXPANDS, price went up 11 of 16 times (+0.79% at 24h) and 10 of 14 (+0.92%). When OI CONTRACTIONS, it’s 9 of 18 in both branches: coin in the air. The edge isn’t given by direction; it’s given by whether a new position enters. Today: price +0.82%, OI -2.24%. The quadrant with no edge. Retail cut longs to 55.1% and top traders raised them: the crowd exited. On 27-09 I wrote $BTC that a break without new positions doesn’t pay off. Today it was confirmed: this break does have fuel. The numbers, next to them. In the 27-09 break, the OI fell from 95.004 to 94.393 in three hours: nobody entered and the break died. In today’s one, the OI is at a 24-hour maximum, +1.22% for the day, while the price is down 3.00%. Same type of event, opposite sign: the first one had no positions behind it; this one does. I close 27-09: whoever held that entry is today at -2.01%, and never reached the target. The map came out almost mirrored again: below 33/67/100 and above 26/51/77 are the same reflected ladder, because the funding is at +0,0018%, meaning zero, and with funding at zero the leverage steps are symmetric by construction. The only thing that moved sideways is the heavy block: it’s now lower, at $79.095 with the 100%.
