Just saw: Trump announced the formation of an investigative committee to examine whether Federal Reserve Governor Cook should be removed. If Acurast’s network really gets used more and more, would $ACU also generate real demand?

At the moment, its mechanism is designed to be interconnected.

Developers who want to run compute-intensive tasks such as AI inference and data processing on Acurast need to pay computation fees in $ACU.

On the other hand, idle mobile phones from around the world connect to the network as Processors, providing computing power in exchange for rewards. This process also involves staking $ACU to ensure network security and reliable computation.

What’s even more noteworthy is that after a compute task is successfully executed, $ACU will also be burned.

That means if Acurast truly takes off in the future, several forces will appear at the same time:

More developers buying compute services

More Processors staking $ACU

More compute tasks leading to token burns

So when assessing whether $ACU is strong later on, I’ll focus on three key data points:

Paid compute volume, $ACU staked amount, and $ACU burned amount.

No matter how many phones connect, if nobody is actually paying to run tasks, the significance is still limited.

Conversely, if all three of these metrics start to grow steadily, that would indicate that Acurast’s network growth is truly turning into demand for $ACU.

Understand Acurast ($ACU) in 30 seconds 🧠 What is it for? Acurast aims to do one straightforward thing: turn the world’s idle smartphones into a decentralized computing power network. Developers can delegate tasks like AI inference and data processing to the network, which is jointly executed by a large number of phones. Each phone’s security chip (TEE) protects the data and the computation process. In return, phone users who contribute computing power can earn $ACU rewards. 💰 Funding Total funding of about $16.4 million. Of this, $11 million funding was completed in November 2025. Investors include Polkadot founder Gavin Wood, Web3 Foundation, Tezos Foundation, CoinList, and others. 👥 Team A Swiss team, with core members from the development studio Papers, who previously worked on the AirGap wallet. The team also has a track record in security and mobile-end technology from financial institutions such as Credit Suisse and Swiss Re, and has been involved in the crypto industry continuously since 2015. 🔭 Where’s the opportunity? Demand for AI computing power is growing rapidly, but GPUs are expensive and highly centralized. Acurast has chosen a different path: Instead of piling on more GPUs, it directly leverages the billions of existing smartphones worldwide. 🔥 Where are things at right now? Acurast is no longer just a concept: • 280,000+ phones connected • Coverage in 175+ countries • Cumulatively processed over 918 million on-chain transactions • Able to run open-source AI models and achieve sub-second inference In simple terms: Acurast wants to turn idle phones around the world into a decentralized cloud that can be called on anytime. @Acurast

Last week, I gave @HertzFlow_xyz two Chinese names. ① He Ying ✨ He runs through what’s abundant—everything can be contracted. HertzFlow He Ying: Everything is priced; everything can be contracted. ② He Li Duo 💫 A homophone of “profit is more.” But the more I think about it, the more I feel that HertzFlow’s core shouldn’t be summarized only as returns. Today, I want to submit a third Chinese name: ③ He Zhuang 🎯 “赫” keeps the phonetic anchor of “Hertz”; “庄” is not an exclusive label for a minority of professional institutions—it’s a market role jointly formed by pricing, liquidity, and risk bearing. After researching HertzFlow these past few days, my understanding is: it’s not just a contract trading platform—it also aims to lower the barriers to creating and participating in the market, so the market isn’t held only by professional institutions. It also brings to mind a main thread in the evolution of trading infrastructure: helping more people become not only traders, but also participants in the market itself. He Zhuang: So that everyone gets a chance to sit on the market’s side. 🔶

I thought of a great Hertzflow @HertzFlow_xyz Chinese name tonight—@HertzFlow_xyz Helido Pronunciation: Hè Lì Duō This name has three cleverly layered designs: Heli: Perfectly carries over Hertz’s Chinese pronunciation and brand DNA, preserving the original name’s sense of “frequency” and “pulsation.” Lido: The most commonly used word in finance and crypto markets, directly pointing to “beneficial to price increases, beneficial to returns.” Helido ≈ “Profitable-duo”: Just by hearing it, you naturally associate it with “getting more profit.” It’s not a vague good-luck slogan; instead, it directly puts the user’s most core benefit—“more profit”—into the brand name itself. Most importantly, it can naturally generate the kind of Hua-and-Hua-style super slogans: Money flows in, more profit. Use Helido, more profit. Or more casual and more catchy: If you want to make more profit, use Helido. Every time others say “profitable-duo,” it’s like they’re free-promoting “Helido” for you. This is exactly the classic Hua-and-Hua tactic: “Insert the brand name into the entry slogan, and repeatedly broadcast the slogan to spread the brand.”

dappOS First-phase airdrop quotas can be checked now. This time, I found Airdrop Box #1: 333 $DOS. @dappOS_com Based on the pre-trading reference price of $0.35 I used for a rough estimate, it’s about $117; this is just for valuation reference—the actual value still depends on the official claim and the market price at the time. Don’t celebrate too quickly—what’s open at this stage is quota lookup, not claiming. Currently, the page shows Airdrop Box #1; the second airdrop box and the claim entry point are still pending the official announcement. If you were an early supporter of dappOS, took part in xBubbl, subscribed to xBubbl, or completed ecosystem tasks, lighthouse tasks, held related NFTs, and also did the Binance wallet campaign that included an airdrop, you can verify it yourself through the official entry. Final eligibility and quantities will be determined by the official page.

The truly terrifying thing about a card shop that runs off isn’t that the owner disappears—it’s that the consumers’ money and goods are, from start to finish, controlled by the same person. Recently, the Taiwanese card store “Little Goat Card Society” suddenly closed and went missing. A large number of players’ pre-order payments and undelivered items have been stuck in limbo, once again exposing the risks of the card pre-order model. I’ve been wondering: can Web3 projects like Renaiss @renaissprotocol reduce this kind of problem? In the traditional model, consumers send the money to the card shop first. In the Web3 model, the funds can be put into an escrow contract. After the goods are confirmed to have arrived, the payment is then released to the card shop. This at least helps prevent the merchant from pocketing all the pre-order payments before delivering the goods. But the hardest problem is right here: who will prove that the goods really arrived? If the confirmation is done by the card shop itself, then it’s basically meaningless. If a third-party warehouse verifies the goods, you still have to trust the warehouse—and you also have to guard against collusion between the warehouse and the merchant, as well as fake inspections. So Web3 can’t completely eliminate trust. What it’s better at is this: let the funds be controlled by a contract, and require the supplier, logistics, warehouse, and buyers to each provide proof. This breaks apart the single point of trust that used to be concentrated in the card shop. It may not be able to fully prevent disappearances, but it can make it much harder for a card shop to simultaneously control consumers’ money, goods, and the right to verify—and it can also reduce losses when problems do happen.
