🚨 Bull trap or the bears’ last gasp? What no one is telling you about BTC this week 📉📈
#Bitcoin price action this week has been a real emotional roller coaster that kept us all glued to our screens. We saw it all: breakout attempts that got bulls excited about $84K, sudden drops nearing $80K, and brutal macroeconomic volatility driven by inflation data, geopolitical tensions, and institutional swings that shook up the market.
💰 A quick snapshot of the current market: Current price: Around the critical $80,500–$81,000 USD zone. Technical pulse: The daily MACD has flattened dangerously close to zero, showing that selling pressure is easing, but the bulls still haven’t reclaimed the short-term moving average stack. The dilemma: Whales keep accumulating, while institutional investors move in and out of ETFs in swings of over $1 billion, as retail investors remain uncertain.
💡 The big question that will define the next few days: Are we in a perfect accumulation zone before the final push to new highs, or will the market deliver a deeper correction before giving us some peace?

This week could be very DANGEROUS for the markets…
MONDAY: U.S. markets reopen after Trump’s warning of another attack on Iran. Brent crude is already near $117.
TUESDAY: U.S. jobs, housing, and consumer confidence data.
WEDNESDAY: FOMC decision and press conference with Kevin Warsh. Rates are expected to remain unchanged, but the Fed could hint at future hikes.
THURSDAY: U.S. PCE inflation and GDP data. Inflation is estimated at 3.6%, up from 3.4%, and with oil prices rising, there could be another upside shock.
FRIDAY: Japan’s unemployment data and U.S. wage inflation data.
All of this is happening just days before the U.S. midterm elections.
If inflation comes in high and the Fed signals more rate hikes, stocks, metals, and cryptocurrencies could face significant downside volatility… $BTC
XRP token inflows to exchanges have exceeded 6 billion tokens in 30 days, as XRP whales have begun slowing their outflows/large transactions to move to the sidelines. The arrival of such a large amount of XRP on trading platforms suggests that several investors may be preparing sell orders or seeking liquidity, creating downward pressure or holding back the token’s price.
Recent data indicates that whales alone transferred more than 1.66 billion XRP to the Binance exchange over the past 30 days, marking the highest level of such transfers in more than six months. The slowdown in active accumulation/outflows by whales reflects some short-term uncertainty, as they wait to see how the market reacts to the excess liquidity deposited. $XRP
📈 $BTC is approaching USD 83,000, driven by a sense of optimism in stock markets worldwide. Several analysts point to USD 90,000 as the next target. Do you agree, or do you think prices will fall further?
Many people are calling for a crash at tomorrow’s market open for these reasons.
- Oil is above $100. - AI perpetuals are plunging. - Bank stocks are plummeting. - The VIX is at a 4-month high. - Bond yields are surging. - Inflation is out of control. - War and geopolitical uncertainty are escalating. - Rumors that the AI fund is running out of money are spreading.
And coincidentally, the 1987 Black Monday crash happened on October 19, and tomorrow is also October 19.
And here’s what happened during the last Black Monday crash:
- The U.S. stock market plunged 22% in a single day, wiping out $500 billion. - Global stock markets lost more than $1.7 trillion. - The Fed had to inject liquidity to calm the markets.
The last Black Monday crash was caused solely by rising rates and concerns about the trade deficit.
This time, the market is much more mature, and such a massive crash isn’t possible because of circuit breakers.
That doesn’t mean a plunge can’t happen, but a full-blown crash like the one in 1987 is a bit extreme. $BTC
