$AR is giving buyers another test. 👀

After the sharp move from around $2.5 to above $5, AR pulled back toward the $ 4 area and is now trading around $4.45, up about 4.68% today.

What catches my attention is the reaction around $4.

The 7-day MA is around $4.45, while the 25-day MA is much lower near $3.67. So the short-term trend is still strong, but after such a fast move, I don’t want to chase blindly.

One lesson I’ve learned from trading crypto for years:

After a big pump, the real question isn't “How high can it go?”
It’s “Can buyers defend the levels they just created?”

For AR, I’m watching the $ 4 area closely. If buyers keep defending it, momentum can remain interesting. If it breaks decisively, I’d rather step back than force a trade.

AR just repriced violently: the chart shows $4.82, up 55.4% in 24h, with ~$45.8M USDT volume. Independent market data also shows AR moving from $2.65 on Sep. 18 to ~$3.65 at the Sep. 19 close, while market-wide 24h volume expanded sharply.

But here’s the contradiction:

Arweave’s utility is storage demand, while AR’s price can move exponentially faster than storage economics.

AR is required for permanent data storage, and protocol fees are designed to feed a long-duration storage endowment rather than simply becoming immediate miner revenue. The maximum supply is 66M AR, with ~65.65M circulating.

So the market is currently repricing a scarce asset faster than it is repricing the underlying storage cash-flow-equivalent.

That creates the key question:

Is AR rallying because permanent data demand is accelerating — or because liquidity is chasing a low-float narrative?

At $4.82, the chart is screaming momentum.
