I rarely think about the plumbing in a building.
I just expect the water to run.
It only becomes interesting when something breaks.

I’ve been thinking about @Dusk _Foundation in a similar way.
It’s easy to call it another smart-contract network, but institutions probably care about much less exciting questions.

Who is allowed in? Who can hold what?
What information stays private?
And when something goes wrong, who is actually responsible?

That’s where $DUSK gets interesting, but also where things get difficult. Issuers, custodians, regulated venues, investors and regulators don’t all want the same thing.
One side wants access, another needs control, another needs visibility.
Somehow the infrastructure has to handle those competing needs without making every transaction a headache.

And I’m not convinced technology is the hardest part.

Financial institutions already have systems they know, even if those systems are slow or messy.
Moving onto new rails means trusting something unfamiliar with serious responsibilities.
Dusk has to earn that trust.
Good architecture alone won’t do it.

So maybe the real question for @Dusk isn’t whether institutions can use it.

It’s whether, one day, they’ll be comfortable enough to rely on it without thinking about what’s underneath.

Like plumbing.
