The deeper I look at Dusk, the more I think the real bet is not "privacy on a blockchain."

It is programmable privacy.

That distinction matters.

Most blockchains still treat privacy like a switch. Public or private, pick one.
But regulated financial markets rarely work that way.

A bank may need transaction details hidden from the public, while an auditor or regulator still needs to verify what happened.

An investor may want ownership privacy, while the market infrastructure still needs deterministic settlement and compliance controls.

That is where @Dusk _Foundation gets interesting.

The idea is to build privacy into the application logic itself.

privacy where it is needed, transparency where it is useful, selective disclosure when an authorized party has to look closer.

And with DuskEVM plus Hedger, this is landing inside a developer environment that already speaks the language Ethereum builders know.

That could matter more than launching another privacy chain on its own.

Because tokenized financial markets will not just need assets onchain.

They will need rules about who can see what, who can verify what, and when disclosure happens at all.

That is the infrastructure problem Dusk is actually trying to solve.

Whether the implementation holds up under real regulatory and institutional use is a separate question.

That is what I'm watching next.

SK Hynix will return more than 50% of its free cash flow from 2025–2027 to shareholders.

The company also launched a record ₩40 trillion ($29 billion) share buyback and cancellation.

It starts August 20 and will retire all repurchased shares.

Management says the stock is undervalued and plans more dividends later this year.

Strong AI chip demand is driving the cash.
