The blockchain project Manta Network announced expanded interoperability between their Manta Pacific network and BNB Chain, the smart chain underlying the popular crypto exchange Binance. This cross-chain bridge will allow users to easily swap Manta’s native token $MANTA with $BNB, and engage in farming opportunities with a $BNB/$MANTA liquidity pool on PancakeSwap.

How the Manta-BNB Interoperability Works

The process to bridge assets between Manta Pacific and BNB Chain was outlined in a tweet from Manta Network’s official X account. Users must navigate to the Pacific-BSC bridge portal After connecting a crypto wallet, users can select “Manta” as the source chain and “BNB Chain” as the destination chain. Users must then approve the transaction and send their $MANTA tokens across the bridge.

After bridging $MANTA onto the BNB Chain, users can provide liquidity to the $BNB/$MANTA pool on the popular decentralized exchange PancakeSwap. This will allow them to earn fees and rewards from other traders swapping between the assets. Bridging also allows $BNB holders to access various decentralized applications in the Manta ecosystem.

Market Movements for $MANTA and $BNB

Manta’s token $MANTA has surged over 5% in the last 24 hours according to CoinMarketCap, reaching a price of $3.07 at the time of writing. BNB has also climbed significantly, up over 8% to $360.35. The new Manta-BNB bridge may have provided further momentum for these price increases.
