The Safety Habit That Matters More Than Trading Speed
Before every Binance P2P trade, I spend about one minute checking a few details. That small routine protects me far better than rushing to complete an order.

First, remember what Binance P2P actually provides. Every trade is protected by escrow, meaning the crypto is locked until the seller confirms the payment has truly arrived. If something goes wrong, the in app chat, Order ID, payment records, and Appeal system give both parties an official way to resolve the issue. That protection only exists inside the platform.

My next step is verifying the counterparty. I always review the merchant profile, completion rate, completed orders, and account verification. I also compare the payment account name with the information shown in the order. If anything does not match, I stop and contact support instead of taking risks.
I never trust screenshots, edited receipts, or messages claiming that payment has been sent. I log in to my banking app and confirm the funds are actually credited to my account. Only after the payment is fully received do I release the crypto.

I also avoid every common red flag. Requests to continue the deal on Telegram or another platform, sudden changes to the payment account, pressure to release coins quickly, or unusual transfer notes are all reasons to pause immediately. Leaving Binance P2P means leaving escrow protection and the official dispute process behind.
After the trade is finished, I keep the Order ID, payment proof, and chat history until everything is fully settled. If a dispute appears later, these records make the Appeal process much smoother.
