Pro-crypto attorney John Deaton has clinched the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate in Massachusetts. Deaton, a former Marine and Ripple (XRP) advocate, defeated two other Republican contenders, securing 64% of the votes with 43% of the total votes counted. He will face Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren in November, who is seeking her third term.

Deaton's campaign received significant backing from the crypto industry, including the Winklevoss twins and Ripple executives. The Commonwealth Unity Fund, a crypto PAC, contributed over $1 million to support his bid. As of July 31, Deaton had raised approximately $1.7 million for his Senate campaign.
