⚠️ Personal experience – Risk warning when trading outside Binance
I’m sharing a real personal experience so others can be more cautious.
– During a USDT trade, the counterparty asked me to continue communication outside Binance and invited me to a private chat group.
– In that group, many accounts interacted frequently and shared “profits,” creating a sense that investing was easy and safe.
– I first tested with a small amount, which I was able to withdraw, so I lowered my guard.
– Later, I deposited a larger amount (2,000 USD) following their guidance.
⛔ Warning signs
– After the large transaction, I was removed from the group.
– My funds on the external platform became non-withdrawable / non-tradable.
– “Support” asked me to deposit more funds to unlock assets, then stopped responding.
👉 Result: I could not recover the deposited funds.
📌 Lessons learned
• Do not move funds to platforms outside Binance based on private instructions.
• Be cautious of private groups showing “easy profits” with many interacting accounts.
• A successful small withdrawal does not guarantee safety.
• If asked to deposit more money to unlock funds, stop immediately.
