* Don't involve emotions; the less you feel, the better it will be for your mental peace.

Seeing red numbers can scare you, but it's normal. Many times our trade openings have a margin of error, and you may see your trade in red; however, the one who loses is the one who closes the position at a loss.

* Study technical indicators. They are extremely important when trading as they give us a broader view of the trade we want to make.

* Use different timeframes to see the daily trend.

* If you are just starting, avoid trading during high volatility hours.

* Avoid over-leveraging at all costs; this is the killer of trades.

* Avoid placing a buy or sell order on hold until the value you want is reached. Why? Because just like you, there are others who may also leave orders ready to trade, but that only attracts the attention of someone big who wants to liquidate all those pending trades. Let them open, and then poof, they liquidate everyone.

* Avoid greed. You are going to make money, but not overnight. Rather, it will be with discipline and consistency. It's better to safely take out 5-10% daily than to take out 50% once and then lose it all in the next trade.
