SOL is up over 24% this week and roughly 44% over the past month, trading around $107 — its highest level since January. Thursday's move came as validators vote on two proposals (SIMD-550 and SIMD-553) that would cut new SOL issuance and sharply increase token burns, a supply-side catalyst on top of already-strong momentum.
The rally has been backed by fundamentals too: Solana processed 4.2 billion transactions in July, DEX volume hit roughly $56 billion over the past 30 days, and Solana ETFs have logged a record $1.2B+ in cumulative inflows. Despite the surge, SOL remains well below its 2026 high, leaving room to run if momentum holds.
