Second Liquidation
Since I lost the 260U I deposited last time, I've been playing on a simulated market. It's been exactly a week now. This time, I'm playing the simulated market seriously, starting with 4000U. This week, I managed to reach 5500U, consistently trading major coins and never touching altcoins, always using 10x leverage with a 10% position. Very serious.
Today, the market was incredibly stable, and I was just bored. I had a thought about playing with altcoins. Also 10x, 10% position. I made one trade first, earning 200U. Then, the second trade blew up, coinciding with a spike, and it got liquidated in one minute, without even having time to react; it wasn't even a holding position. I lost 1000U.
Can't play with altcoins; it's too easy to manipulate funds. All the effort from the past week was wiped out in an instant.

Another issue is that I used 10% of my position; the margin was originally just over 500, but when the first near-liquidation happened, the margin automatically increased to over 900??? This led to the 1000 loss. Does the margin increase automatically? Is it isolated margin mode?

I can engage in contracts, but the limit for contracts in this lifetime is 1, and the maximum deposit limit is 10% of my assets. Additionally, for each trade, I need to take a 30% profit fee, to be given to the principal bank. After returning the principal, the count resets to zero.

After experiencing my first liquidation in life, as a newcomer, I was initially very cautious. However, with each profitable trade, my excessive timidity prevented me from making even more profits.

My situation:
1. I am very cautious by nature and plan to first try a simulated trading account for a month before deciding on the amount to invest. Also, I will not make a second deposit within a year. If I lose it all, then so be it; I absolutely will not reinvest to chase losses.
2. I started operating the simulated trading account last Wednesday. To understand the situation, I have been using 5-10x leverage on contracts to enhance volatility.
3. I mainly try ultra-short-term trading to understand the operational logic. I take a small profit and leave; I absolutely do not get greedy. Generally, I set a profit target of 10%-20% before exiting.
4. I almost never set stop losses; I prefer to wait for a rebound. However, I will not expect rebound profits when the situation is unclear; I usually set an exit with a loss of within 10%.
5. Currently, for four days, every operation has ended in profit, with the highest single position profit at 86%.
6. Yesterday, I ended up flat, with a total profit of over 110%, but I couldn't control my impulses before sleeping. I shorted ECT with 10x leverage without any understanding, just on a whim, and I am currently stuck with a loss of over 30%. Waiting for a rebound, I have set a 10% loss to exit.
