Today I want to share a personal mistake. In the morning, during my working hours, I opened a short position and got distracted; I forgot about the trade and, as expected, ended up losing $1.37. I was upset with myself for the lack of focus.
However, I remained calm and understood the lesson. Later, with a clear mind, I executed another trade with analysis and discipline. What was the result? I recovered what I lost and also closed with a profit of $1.77, which was the most valuable part of the day.
Important message: if you are going to trade, do not lose your focus. One single oversight, when the market moves strongly, can cost you all your capital.
Mistakes teach more than profits.
