As a licensed and compliant digital asset comprehensive service provider, HashKey holds 3 types of relevant licenses from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, with 96.9% of assets stored in cold wallets for security. However, the prospectus shows a net loss of HKD 507 million in the first half of 2025, continuing a trend of losses over the past three years. Currently, the public offering has been oversubscribed by 41 times, with significant market interest, but it also faces uncertainties such as fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market and adjustments to regulatory details.

At the same time, the Hong Kong government has recently begun public consultations on the tax reporting framework for cryptocurrency assets, planning to automatically exchange related tax information starting in 2028, with the compliance process continuing to advance.
