OpenAI Seeks Funding at a $1.25 Trillion Valuation as U.S. Stocks Dump AI: Who’s Lying?
Yesterday (October 22), two seemingly contradictory things happened. On one hand, according to reports from TechCrunch, CNBC, and others, OpenAI is pursuing a private funding round of up to about $30 billion, at a valuation of roughly $1.25 trillion, led by Coatue and investors from the UAE. If completed, this would make it one of the most valuable private companies in history. Markets have also viewed it as a potential “war chest top-up” ahead of a possible 2027 IPO. OpenAI declined to comment. Meanwhile, concerns about returns on AI capital spending are mounting in global markets: the Nasdaq fell about 2.6% in a single day, while the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index dropped roughly 6.7%. Chinese financial circles echoed the same sentiment: the AI computing-power story is still being sold, but stock prices are already voting with their feet.
$BTR 15m · Large bullish candle A large bullish candle +1.35%, with a body 2.8× its usual size
Current price 0.066260 | +33.6% from the moving average cluster
Basis: An upward price-and-volume breakout has appeared against a bearish backdrop Risk: Now 33.6% above the moving average cluster; 5 of the last 32 candles were overbought; the higher timeframe remains bearish; this is not a trend-following long, so a sharp rise followed by a pullback is likely Strategy: Reversal watch (upward breakout on increased volume after a prolonged downtrend) Plan: Do not open a position. If a pullback holds above the moving average cluster (upper boundary around 0.049598) and the 1h chart stabilizes, then reassess whether to go long
🩸 Break through three moving averages and you’re already calling a reversal? $BTW closed at 1.7770 on the 15m chart— Punched straight up from below the moving-average cluster, closing 1.33% above it on 11.13x volume.
But flip it over, and it’s chilling:
24h bearish alignment: 100%; multi-timeframe bias: 4 bullish vs. 7 bearish. The MACD histogram is still underwater; the zero line hasn’t flipped. 1h moving averages are tangled up; the 4h chart is standing alone. Only 2/4 conditions are lit, while BTC and ETH are both leaning bearish ⚠️ No altcoin longs—the bull trap is dug deep.
⚡ My call: no trade. Wait for the MACD histogram to get back above the zero line— Only if it holds do the bulls deserve an entry ticket. If it can’t hold, this green candle is a pit the bears dug for you.
🎯 Is 1.7770 the launch point for a breakout—or the last gasp of a bull trap? Are you betting it holds, or will the bears slap it right back down? 👀
$MEW 15m · Volume-backed breakout Volume was 5.0x higher; the close broke above the high from the previous 12 hours at 0.000498
Current price: 0.000501 | +8.5% from the moving average cluster
Rationale: An upward price-and-volume breakout has appeared against a bearish backdrop Risk: Already 8.5% away from the moving average cluster; multiple timeframes are not fully aligned; this is not a trend-following long setup and could easily spike and then pull back; BTC/ETH are both bearish Strategy: Watch for a reversal (an upward volume-backed breakout after a prolonged bearish trend) Plan: Do not open a position. If the retest holds above the moving average cluster (upper edge around 0.000462) and the 1h chart stabilizes, then reassess whether to go long
⚡ On this 15m candle for $XMR , the 12-hour floor at 591.250 got kicked to pieces. Volume surged 3.2x, with price and volume moving down in sync— closed at 591.030, and the floor flipped straight into a ceiling 🎭
🔥 1h, 4h, and 1d are all above the bull cluster—the triple dam says hold on. 🩸 The 15m shows some bullish disagreement, but the MACD histogram at -2.14 is still underwater. Only 2/4 conditions are lit.
But the nastiest cut isn’t on the chart: BTC and ETH are both leaning bearish, so altcoin longs are off-limits. Even a strong higher timeframe can’t withstand this cold shower 💀
My call: no entry ⚠️ Wait for price to retest the top of the moving-average cluster at 617.530 and stabilize. Only then do the bulls get a seat at the table.
🎯 591.030 → 617.530, a 4.5% gap. Are you betting it’s a golden dip gifted by the higher timeframe, or will the broader market drag it down and flush it out? 👀
$CTR 15m · Crossed above all three lines Closed above the cluster +0.03%
Current price 0.016339 | Distance from moving-average cluster +0.03%
Basis: Bullish bias from 1h/4h confluence Risk: BTC/ETH both bearish at the same time Strategy: Wait for strength to return (momentum strengthening again within a mature uptrend) Plan: No entry. Wait for CCI to cross back above 100 and the MACD histogram to turn positive
🩸 Closed at 3.5924. That 15m bearish candle at $LIT dropped 1.77%, with a body 4 times its usual size.
🔥 The mature-bullish playbook was torn up just two pages in.
3/8 conditions are lit: 96 bars in a bullish alignment, 100%; 86% above the cluster. But the other side is glaring— CCI -100.6, MACD histogram -0.00271, the 1h chart tangled in knots, and bearish pressure looming over the 4h.
The 1d is still above the bullish cluster, but that huge 15m bearish candle has already hit us in the face. Bull-bear score +1, bullish bias with disagreement—the numbers say buy, the candlestick chart is selling off.
⚡ BTC and ETH are both leaning bearish. Altcoin long positions are strictly off-limits. Even lit conditions are worthless paper.
My choice: no position. I’ll wait for CCI to climb back above 100 and the MACD histogram to turn positive. If the 1h trend doesn’t stabilize, I won’t give it another look.
🎯 3.5924 is the dividing line for this move. Hold it, and the 1d trend gets another lease on life. Lose it, and the whole bullish setup goes up in flames.
👀 Do you think this huge bearish candle is a shakeout, or the end of the mature bull run?
$BTR 15m · Multiple timeframes simultaneously above the moving-average cluster 15m, 1h, and 4h candles all closed above their respective moving-average clusters
Current price: 0.062210 | +34.2% above the moving-average cluster
Basis: An upward breakout with rising volume and price has emerged against a bearish backdrop Risk: Price is already 34.2% above the moving-average cluster; 5 of the last 32 candles were overbought; the higher timeframes remain bearish; this is not a trend-following long setup, and price could easily spike and then pull back Strategy: Reversal watch (upward breakout on rising volume after a prolonged downtrend) Plan: Do not open a position. If price retests the cluster without falling back below it (upper edge around 0.046359) and stabilizes on the 1h timeframe, then assess whether a long position is viable
Once this $AVA 15m candle closes, 0.36080 is just hovering around the lower edge of the moving average cluster 🎭
In a bearish alignment, the rebound reached 0.36138— missed holding by 0.16%, and got slapped right back down.
🔥 The 1h and 4h are both sitting above the bullish cluster, shouting their bullish case loud and clear. 🩸 The 1d is still under a bearish cloud; it hasn't turned bullish. A short-term rebound without the higher timeframes confirming it—the market is seriously conflicted.
Only 2/4 conditions are lit: The bearish share across 96 bars is only 53%; oversold hasn't triggered yet, and price has only touched the lower edge of the cluster. It's not quite enough for me to enter.
My call: no short ⚠️ Wait for another rebound to 0.36138— If it holds, the 1h and 4h take over, and the bulls get a seat at the table. If it fails to hold, the bears weld the door shut and keep pushing price down.
👀 0.36138 is the dividing line for this move. Are you betting it holds, or will the bears smack it down again?
$UVXY 15m · Volume-backed breakout Volume surged to 4.1×, and the close broke above the previous 12-hour high of 18.540
Current price 18.680 | +6.3% from the moving-average cluster
Basis: An upside volume-and-price breakout emerged against a bearish backdrop; at least one of the 1h/4h timeframes is leaning bullish Risk: Price is already 6.3% from the moving-average cluster; multiple timeframes are not fully aligned; this is not a trend-following long, so a spike followed by a pullback is likely; BTC/ETH are both leaning bearish Strategy: Reversal watch (upside volume-backed breakout after a prolonged bearish trend) Plan: Do not enter. If a pullback holds above the moving-average cluster (upper edge around 17.574) and the 1h trend stabilizes, then reassess whether to go long
🩸 7.3× average volume, bearish close. This 15m MASK candle says just one thing: distribution.
Closed at 0.43430, with the candle position at 91%— Buyers threw serious money at pushing it up, and sellers slammed it right back down in a single candle. RSI 89.9, CCI 559: that’s a fever, not strength.
Even more striking is the price level: +18.42% above the top of the moving average cluster—it’s flown a good distance away. The 1h chart is bearishly aligned, the 4h is below the cluster, and the 1d still hangs under a bearish shadow. Multi-timeframe score: 6 bullish vs. 7 bearish—not even close to pulling in the same direction.
🔥 BTC and ETH are both leaning bearish, so altcoin longs are off limits.
⚡ My move: no trade. Wait for a pullback that holds above 0.43832 and for the 1h chart to stabilize, then see if there’s an opportunity.
Huge volume with a bearish close + bearish pressure across all timeframes— Are you betting this is a genuine breakout or a distribution trap? 👀
$BTR 15m · High-volume breakout Volume was 357.5x higher, and the close broke above the previous 12-hour high of 0.044240
Current price 0.053800 | 21.7% above the moving-average cluster
Basis: Bearish alignment in 26% of the last 96 bars Risk: Already 21.7% above the moving-average cluster Strategy: Bearish alignment; wait for a rebound Plan: Don’t short yet. Watch whether it can hold above the upper edge of the moving-average cluster (around 0.044197). If it can’t, consider shorting
🩸 Closed at 6.9830 — that 15m candle, $UNI , plunged and punched straight through 6.9940. Volume surged to 2.8x, with price and volume moving down together. It looks brutal. Price is 4.47% below the top of the moving-average cluster; the 96-bar low has already touched -4.61%.
Bulls and bears lay their cards on the table: 💀 Bears: A high-volume breakdown, the low has given way, and there’s more dumping to come. 🛡️ Bulls: 1d is still above the bullish cluster, and 4h is making a bullish pullback — a shakeout, not distribution.
But I’m not taking either side ⚠️
The 1h is already bearish, and MACD is still below zero. No longs on the 1h; keep the higher-timeframe direction in mind.
📌 Plan: No position. Wait for price to climb back above the top of the moving-average cluster at 7.3098 and stabilize. Only act if it holds; if it doesn’t, keep waiting.
🎯 6.9830 → 7.3098, a 4.47% gap. Would you wait for it to climb back on its own, or bet that it keeps breaking lower?
$CT 15m · High-volume breakdown Volume was 5.3× higher; the close broke below the previous 12-hour low of 0.23003
Current price 0.22500 | 16.3% below the moving-average cluster
Rationale: An oversold breakdown within a bearish alignment; don’t buy the dip outright Risk: Price is 16.3% below the moving-average cluster; an oversold condition within a bearish alignment is not a reason to buy the dip outright. Wait for the MACD histogram to rise above 0; 1h bearish alignment—don’t go long (filter by the higher-timeframe trend); 1h bearish alignment—don’t go long Strategy: Wait for momentum to recover (after the high-volume breakdown, wait for the MACD to recover) Plan: Do not open a position. Wait for the MACD histogram to move back above the zero line
$LIT 15m · Upward crossing of three lines Closed above the cluster +0.38%
Current price 3.6213 | +0.4% from the moving-average cluster
Strategy: Wait for strength to return (momentum strengthening again within a mature bullish trend) Plan: Do not open a position. Wait for CCI to cross back above 100 and the MACD histogram to turn positive
$WLD 15m Once this candle closed, the whole market looked like someone had hit pause 🔇
The oversold zone held, 0.53520 stayed intact, and the MACD histogram just turned positive. The close landed right at 0.54710.
1h is above the bullish cluster, and 4h is aligned too— only 1d still has a bearish shadow hanging over it, so keep your position small at most, or sit it out ⚠️
Here’s the plan: Limit order at 0.53590, stop-loss at 0.49303—cut it if you’re down 8%. If it doesn’t fill within 20 15m candles, cancel it. No dithering.
The dividing line is right beneath us: It only counts as a confirmed reversal if price gets above 0.53590; otherwise, that cold shower from 1d could knock you right back down at any moment 💀
So—which would you choose: take a small-position shot, or keep waiting for 1d to turn bullish?
$ZEC 15m · Small-Position Plan Don’t catch a falling knife after oversold conditions; momentum is starting to recover
Current price 1249.60 | 0.5% below the moving average cluster
Basis: 15m oversold conditions appeared earlier; it is no longer oversold; price has not continued falling below the oversold low Risk: MACD is still below the zero line Plan: Place a limit order to go long at 1233.71, with a stop-loss at 1135.01 (-8.0%). Cancel if not filled within 20 15m candles.
🔥 This $ALT 15m candle has serious visual impact. 🩸 A huge bearish candle slammed down to 0.008051, but buyers caught it. Closed at 0.008504, with the MACD negative bars shrinking consecutively.
15m has just emerged from oversold, RSI 30.1, CCI -107. 1h and 4h are both nodding along in the pullback cluster. ⚡ But 1d is still in a bearish rebound phase and hasn’t caught up.
My plan: Place a limit order at 0.008156 and wait for a fill; stop loss at 0.007504, 8% away. Cancel if it doesn’t fill within 20 15m candles. 💀 A small-position window; no adding unless 1d confirms.
🧨 0.008156 is the dividing line for this move. Hold there and the rebound kicks off; fail to hold and it keeps dumping.
$1000PEPE 15m · Small-position plan Don’t catch the falling knife after oversold conditions; momentum is starting to recover
Current price: 0.004496 | Within the moving-average cluster
Rationale: It was oversold on the 15m earlier; it is no longer oversold, and has not continued to break below the oversold low Risk: The 1d trend remains bearish Plan: Place a limit order to go long at 0.004393, with a stop-loss at 0.004041 (-8.0%). Cancel if not filled within 20 15m candles
