$ETH Is Sitting Right on $2,500, and That’s the Whole Story 🎯
Crossing $2,500 is a headline. Holding it is the trade.
$ETH is at 2,500 USDT, up just 0.36% on the day. It’s barely above the line after Thursday’s flush, which wiped out $356M in ETH positions.
🔹 Pivot: $2,500, where bulls and bears are fighting 🔹 Upside: $2,550, then $2,650 if buyers take control 🔹 Downside: lose the ~$2,490 flush low and sellers get the next move 🔹 Headwind: ETH ETFs lost $201.9M on Oct 6 and $160.9M on Oct 7
I like the resilience, but I won’t call a reversal until ETH closes above $2,550 on a daily candle. Until then, it’s a range.

NFP Day Is Here; And BTC Is Already Flexing at $86K 👀
Today's jobs report could set the tone for Fed expectations, and crypto, into Q4.
🔹 NFP releases 12:30 UTC today, forecast: 89K jobs (vs. 162K last month) 🔹 $BTC already pushing above $86K ahead of the print, "Uptober" hopes building 🔹 Strong jobs data = cooler rate-cut odds, could pressure risk assets 🔹 Weak data = more cut odds, often read as bullish for BTC
⚠️ Historically, NFP days aren't always huge BTC movers on their own, it's often the follow-through in yields that matters more.

New Buyers Just Bought the Top of the Range. Is That a Problem? 🧠
Takeaway: short-term holders are back in force, and their cost basis is the level to watch.
🔹 Short-term holders now hold 4.08M BTC, the most since mid-June 🔹 Up 422K BTC (+12%) since the July 29 low, with 154K added in just two weeks 🔹 Most new buyers got in between $82K and $86K 🔹 Their average cost is ~$74,900, and their profit buffer has shrunk from ~16% to ~10%
My take: More buyers means demand is real. But many entered near today’s price, so they have little cushion. That makes this group sensitive to dips, and they sell fast when they’re underwater.
What I’m watching: ✅ $74,900 is the breakeven. A drop below it puts the whole group in the red and could add selling pressure. ✅ Whether long-term holders keep holding through dips, which they have so far
I’m constructive while $BTC stays above $80K. I’d get cautious below $75K.

$NEAR Bounced 10%, But I Want to See What’s Behind It 🔍
Takeaway: the move is real, but I’d rather see spot buyers than squeezed shorts driving it.
NEAR climbed to $5.21 on Binance, with a $5.44 intraday high. That erases most of this week’s 8-10% drops.
What I like: 🔹 Up ~140% in 30 days, with NEAR Intents’ $30B in cumulative swap volume behind the story 🔹 $4.90 (20-day EMA) held on the pullback
What gives me pause: 🔹 Futures open interest fell ~10% during the rally, which hints at a liquidation-driven bounce 🔹 A ~$3.8M exploit tied to NEAR Intents (not the whole chain) 🔹 Growing validator emissions add supply
My levels: ✅ Support: $4.90, then $4.88 ✅ Resistance: $5.44, then $6
My opinion: bullish above $4.90, but I won’t chase near $5.40. A daily close above $5.44 with rising volume would change my mind.
$DUSK Is Stuck in No-Man’s-Land. Here’s the Chart 📊
Takeaway: signals are mixed, so wait for a clear break before trading.
🔹 Price: ~$0.072, up ~4% today but down ~2% on the week 🔹 Support: ~$0.0680-$0.0700, then the weekly demand zone at $0.034-$0.045 🔹 Resistance: $0.074-$0.077, then $0.084 (early October level) 🔹 Signals: daily rating is Buy, weekly rating is Sell 🔹 Risk: thin volume (low single-digit millions daily), so moves can be sharp
👉 My read: DUSK is consolidating in a narrow range after a fall from higher levels, and selling pressure looks like it’s fading, but buyers haven’t taken control yet.
Plan: ✅ Bullish: a daily close above $0.077 with volume ⚠️ Bearish: a close below $0.068 opens a deeper drop ✅ Keep size small and use a stop-loss
💬 Breakout above $0.077 or breakdown below $0.068? 👇
🚨 $261M Just Left Bitcoin ETFs in One Day. Should You Worry? 📉
What it means: Big investors pulled money out right after the hot CPI report, led by Fidelity’s FBTC ($153M) and BlackRock’s IBIT ($111M). It wiped out Tuesday’s $176M inflow and put this week at -$151M, after -$681M last week.
Redemptions can force funds to sell real $BTC , so it adds short-term pressure. One day isn’t a trend, though. Total ETF inflows since launch are still ~$57B.
What should we do now:
✅ Don’t panic sell on one day of data ✅ Wait for 2-3 days of flows in the same direction ✅ Cut leverage until the Oct 27-28 Fed meeting ✅ Watch $80K as key support, since BTC is near $80.7K ✅ Set a stop-loss, and keep position sizes small
💬 Are you buying this dip or waiting for inflows to return? 👇
ETFs Shed Over $1.5B in Two Weeks. Here’s What I Actually Think Is Happening 🧊
This looks like institutions protecting themselves from rate-hike risk, not abandoning crypto.
The real scenario:
🔹 Oct 5-9: BTC and ETH ETFs lost $1.22B, with ETH ETFs at $542M, their worst week since January
🔹 ETH ETFs have now seen 10 straight days of outflows, mostly through BlackRock’s ETHA
🔹 The selling hit as yields climbed, the Fed hiked in September, and CPI came in hot
🧘♂️ My opinion:
I don’t read this as panic. When rate-hike odds rise, big funds cut risk first, and ETH, the higher-beta asset, gets sold harder.
But one thing stands out: $BTC ETFs pulled in $175.6M on Oct 13. One day isn’t a trend, but it tells me buyers are still watching.
👉 What I’m doing: ✅ Waiting for 2-3 straight days of inflows before trusting a bounce ✅ Cutting leverage until the Oct 27-28 Fed meeting ✅ Favoring BTC over $ETH until ETH flows turn positive
💬 Smart de-risking, or the start of a bigger exit? 👇
$ETH Just Lost $2,400. Here’s the Chart in 30 Seconds 📉
Takeaway: the next 1-2 daily closes decide whether this is a dip or a breakdown.
🔹 Price: ~$2,380-$2,430, down ~5% in 24h 🔹 Trigger: hot CPI, higher yields, and ~$294M of ETH liquidations 🔹 Trend: below the 20-day and 50-day EMAs, so the short-term bias is bearish 🔹 Support: $2,353-$2,355, where the 100-day EMA sits 🔹 Resistance: $2,498, then $2,548-$2,563 🔹 If $2,353 breaks: $2,204, then $1,971
My plan: ✅ Don’t catch the first bounce below $2,500 ✅ Wait for a reaction at $2,353 ✅ A close back above $2,498 is my first sign of recovery ✅ Small size, stop-loss always
💬 Does $2,353 hold, or are we heading to $2,200? 👇
#CPIWatch Update: The Hot Print Is In, and Crypto Is Feeling It 🔥
Inflation came in hotter than expected, so rate-hike fears are back.
🔹 CPI: 3.7% yearly vs 3.6% expected. Core: 2.6% vs 2.5%.
🔹 Driver: gasoline jumped 9.1%
🔹 Reaction: BTC fell to ~$80.8K, $ETH dropped 6.5% to ~$2,353, and gold slid
🔹 Fed: October hike odds jumped, and the next FOMC is Oct 27-28
🔹 $BTC support at $82.5K-$83.4K is now resistance
What traders should do now:
✅ Cut leverage. Macro volatility can liquidate crowded longs fast. ✅ Wait for PPI before taking big positions ✅ Don’t buy the first bounce below $82.5K ✅ Watch $80K as the next key level ✅ Small size, stop-loss always
💬 Is this a macro shakeout or the start of a deeper pullback? 👇
BlackRock’s Crypto Assets Just Jumped 63% to $79.6B. Here’s the Part Headlines Skip 💰🚨
Takeaway: institutions are back, but price did most of the work.
🔹 AUM: $48.8B → $79.6B in one quarter 🔹 New money: $7.9B in Q3, reversing ~$2.2B of outflows in H1 🔹 Price gains: $22.9B of the $30.8B increase 🔹 Reality check: still 23% below last year’s ~$104B
My view: $7.9B of real inflows is the bullish part. It shows buyers returned when prices recovered. But crypto is only about 0.5% of BlackRock’s $15.5T, so there’s a lot of room to grow.
What I’d watch: whether Q4 inflows continue after this week’s liquidation flush.
💬 Is BlackRock’s comeback a real trend or just a price bounce? 👇
$ETH Just Got Hit 2x Harder Than Bitcoin. Was Your Long Next? 🔥
ETH is the market’s leverage barometer, and it just flashed red.
Nearly $942M was liquidated in 24 hours, and 91.6% of it was longs. ETH made up about 60% of the BTC+ETH total.
🔹 ETH liquidations: ~$285M vs ~$197M for $BTC 🔹 ETH fell 5-6% to ~$2,350, about twice BTC’s drop 🔹 BTC slipped to ~$81K
Why ETH gets hit harder: it’s a higher-beta asset, so it moves more in both directions.
My plan: ✅ Don’t revenge trade or buy the first bounce ✅ Cut leverage. Crowded longs get wiped first. ✅ Wait for ETH to reclaim $2,500 before trusting a rebound ✅ Use small size and a stop-loss
Flushes like this clear weak hands, but the market needs time to stabilize.
💬 Did the flush get you, or are you waiting to buy? 👇
$XAUT Into CPI: Gold Is Stalling, and $BTC Isn’t Immune! 🪙
Hot inflation hurts both gold and BTC. A cool print could help both.
XAUT tracks gold, which is near $4,145 after three straight down sessions. It’s about 26% below its January high of $5,602.
🔹 Support: $4,100-$4,115 🔹 Resistance: $4,200-$4,220, rejected twice this week 🔹 Pressure: 10-year yield ~5.2%, with oil-driven inflation fears
Link to BTC: both react to yields and the dollar. 🔹 Hot CPI = higher rate-hike odds, so pressure on both 🔹 Cool CPI = relief for both 🔹 They can split. After July’s CPI, gold broke higher while BTC fell.
🧘♂️ My plan: wait for the CPI reaction before trading XAUT or BTC, then trade small with a stop-loss.

Down ~34% on the week after a spike to ~$0.051, now sitting near $0.030, right on its 7-day low.
🔹 Support: ~$0.030. Losing it opens new lows. 🔹 Upside: reclaiming $0.051 would need strong volume. 🔹 Plan: don’t catch the falling knife. Wait for a hold above $0.030, with a stop-loss.
