šØ EVERNORTHāS $XRP TREASURY MAKES ITS NASDAQ DEBUT ā BUT SHARES CLOSE IN THE RED.
Evernorth Holdings ($XRPN), a Ripple-backed digital asset treasury company, began trading on Nasdaq on October 12.
Despite an early rally to $19.38, shares reversed course and closed at $16.91, down 1.05%.
Hereās what makes this debut significant:
š° 473 million $XRP held in its treasury at the time of the merger.
š¦ Approximately $300 million in gross cash proceeds, before transaction expenses.
š Backed by investors including Ripple, SBI Group, Pantera Capital, Kraken and Arrington Capital.
ā ļø The key distinction: Evernorthās stock performance does not automatically determine $XRPās price. The listing also does not guarantee new XRP purchases, since part of the treasury came from investors contributing existing tokens.
The bigger story is whether Evernorth can turn its massive XRP holdings into a sustainable institutional treasury strategy.
