Hyperscale cloud providers start leading the market—could the second wave of the tech rally be about to start?
Wall Street Insights: Over the past month, the MAGS index has clearly outperformed the Nasdaq 100 index and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index. As AI capital expenditures approach one trillion dollars, positive signals are emerging from hyperscale cloud providers’ cloud business growth, order backlogs, and AI investment returns. At the same time, earlier hedge funds have significantly reduced their positions (the long/short ratio has fallen to the 25th percentile since 2018), and valuations have declined—creating room for funds to flow back in. Whether cloud providers can continue to lead, or whether they will become the key to the second wave of the tech-sector rally, remains the focus. Hyperscale cloud providers are shifting from being "laggards" in the tech sector to becoming leaders. Against the backdrop of continued expansion in AI capital spending and pressure on free cash flow, cloud business monetization is accelerating, order backlogs are surging, and valuations have been sharply compressed. Combined with hedge-fund positions being thoroughly cleared, multiple factors are moving in sync, and the market is starting to discuss whether the second leg of the tech rally has already begun.

OpenAI released its latest blog post, stating that internal tests show the upcoming Astra model has made significant progress in agentic coding and network security. After evaluating the model under its Preparedness Framework, OpenAI said it cannot rule out that the model has reached the “critical” cyber capability threshold. In addition, OpenAI explicitly clarified in the article that the Astra model did not participate in the recent Hugging Face security incident, and continues with benchmark testing under the Preparedness Framework to manage cutting-edge cyber capabilities. Therefore, OpenAI has paused internal Astra-related activities that have not yet met these strengthened safety and control requirements. The definition of “critical” capability is: the model can, without human intervention, discover and develop functional zero-day vulnerabilities of all severity levels in a large number of real-world hardened critical systems; or it can independently design and carry out end-to-end novel cyberattack strategies targeting hardened objectives solely based on high-level goals. Previously, models (such as GPT-5.6-Sol) were only assessed as being at the “high” level.

World News: Trump Signals Iran Deal Window While Threatening to Destroy the Strait of Hormuz — Oil and Bitcoin React to the Most Contradictory Diplomatic Signal of the Conflict
US President Trump stated July 28 that now is a good time to reach an agreement with Iran — expressing hope to avoid attacking Iranian bridges and power plants — while simultaneously stating that if a deal cannot be reached, the US can "very easily destroy the Strait of Hormuz" and that only ships the US allows will pass through the strait. Trump added that Iran needs to formally declare it does not possess nuclear weapons as a condition of any agreement.
I’m bullish on $SOL as long as it holds key support levels. Strong ecosystem growth, increasing developer activity, and continued institutional interest could help SOL push toward higher resistance zones in the coming weeks. However, if support breaks, expect short-term volatility before the next move.
My outlook: Cautiously Bullish 🚀
Always manage risk, use a stop-loss, and never invest more than you can afford to lose.
Again I buy 5 million $LUNC it's going to touch ALL TIME HIGH. Be ready to grab the big money. Are you still watching or you already buy. Chart never lies. #LUNC
I was heavily bullish on $TON in 2024 when it hovered around the $5–$7 range and Telegram was approaching 1 billion monthly active users.
The opportunity looked obvious — Telegram had one of the largest untapped retail ecosystems in tech, and $TON was the only blockchain tied directly to that audience.
But with time, my conviction started fading.
Telegram never seemed to go all in on TON. We got mini apps, tap-to-earn trends, and some ecosystem growth, but it still felt like the integration lacked real commitment from the top.
Yesterday changed that completely.
Pavel Durov revealed that Telegram is now stepping in as the core force behind TON and will become the network’s largest validator.
That’s not a small update. That’s a major shift.
You now have a blockchain deeply connected to an app used by nearly a billion people — with Telegram’s founder personally backing and steering the vision.
