North Korea Denies $6.3B Binance Hack - Blames US. Do You Believe That?
North Korea just denied having anything to do with Binance's $6.3 billion hack and shifted the blame to the US.
Seriously? Do you actually believe that...?
If it was any other country, there would still be some hope of recovering the funds. But when the hackers turn out to be North Korean, that's when a project loses all hope.
Why? Because when North Korea steals from you, there is absolutely NOTHING you can do.
Look at the proof: Last year's Bybit hack - recovery rate was only 5%. Just 5%. Other projects also traced their hacks to North Korean hackers, issued arrest warrants, offered rewards - all useless.
North Korea's denial is just sophistry. Their hackers don't attack directly from North Korea. They use multiple layers of proxy servers. Many of them even have day jobs and hack at night.
But one thing is undeniable: North Korean hackers are trained with state backing.
So the question is - If exchanges can't stop them, and no one can recover funds, are our funds really SAFU on CEX?
What do you think? Should we move everything to cold wallet?$BTC

"On 29 October 2026, Binance experienced a serious and highly sophisticated security incident. This should not have happened, and we apologise for the concern, disruption and uncertainty it caused our users, partners and the wider industry. Our first responsibility is to protect users. Binance will absorb the financial impact of the stolen funds, not our users. We have already set aside more than 100% of the funds required to cover the loss. As of 31 October 2026, 98% of the impacted token assets have been replenished and are verifiable on our Proof of Reserves page. We are in the process of purchasing the outstanding, more illiquid assets. Approximately USD 6.34 billion in digital assets were impacted by the incident. As of this update, approximately USD 2.85 billion in digital assets have been frozen" means that Binance reported a major cyberattack on 29 October 2026 involving unauthorized movements of digital assets. Binance acknowledges that the incident should not have occurred and apologises for the disruption and uncertainty it caused.
In practical terms, Binance says customers should not bear the loss: the company has reserved more than the full amount needed to cover affected assets. By 31 October 2026, it reported that 98% of the affected token balances had already been restored and could be checked through its Proof of Reserves system. The remaining assets were harder to buy quickly because they were less liquid, so Binance was still acquiring them.
The USD 6.34 billion figure refers to the approximate value of assets affected by the unauthorized activity, not necessarily a final unrecovered loss. The USD 2.85 billion figure refers to assets Binance and its partners had managed to freeze or intercept, although the exact value can change with market prices and final reconciliation. Binance’s latest official update on 3 November 2026 also states that withdrawals were being reopened gradually after security checks, while Binance continued to absorb the financial impact rather than passing it to users.$BTC $ETH

🚨 ELON MUSK vs CZ: CRYPTO DRAMA ERUPTS AGAIN! After the reported $6.3B Binance hack, Elon mocked the news with laughing emojis. *💰$BTC/USDT | 1H Update 🕯* Bitcoin is forming an Ascending Triangle Pattern, which is a bullish pattern.📈 If BTC successfully breaks above $78,900 and retests it as support, we could see a strong upward move.🚀
Binance was hacked for 6.3 billion. Did the resumption of withdrawals trigger a panic-driven mass sell-off? The on-chain data speaks for itself: Net outflows over 7 days totaled 6.9 billion; excluding the 6.3 billion stolen, users withdrew around 600 million on their own. Net outflows in the 24 hours after withdrawals resumed totaled just 175 million, or 0.13% of total reserves. The first major BTC withdrawals were, in many cases, merely transfers between the platform’s wallets. Reserve funds totaling 6.34 billion are already in place, and the top ten cryptocurrencies are fully backed by reserves—there was no mass withdrawal. Trust is not the absence of danger, but the ability to withstand the storm when it hits. @CZ @Yi He#BinanceToResumePhaseOneOfWithdrawals #BinanceProcesses$4.65BWithdrawals
