Polymarket began running production canary markets on Protocol V2, a rebuilt smart-contract system replacing its 2019 Gnosis-based framework with a single ERC-1155 positions contract, pUSD collateral and a new oracle aggregator plugging into UMA, Chainlink and others.
Canary markets run through October 30, with a tentative switch to V2 for new markets on November 2.

Daily trading volume in these pairs peaked at around $440M in early September before falling fast, per Bloomberg.
Shares of Nasdaq-listed Farmmi surged as much as 321% after traders piled into a memecoin paired with an unofficial Farmmi token that had no link to the actual company.
