Polymarket fires CMO: Those videos showing people “making a fortune on prediction markets” may have been paid-for setups According to the New York Post, Polymarket fired CMO Matthew Modabber after an internal investigation, though the company hasn’t officially confirmed it. The focus is on staged videos exposed by the WSJ in June: fake websites and fake profits. The CFTC is still investigating; no one has been convicted. Politico also found that over the course of a year, he personally sent more than $2.5 million via PayPal to over 800 people. At least 20 influencers took money and promoted Polymarket without disclosing that it was advertising. So when I come across a post showing someone “turning a 10x profit overnight” on a prediction market, my first thought is: How much were they paid for this? #Polymarket #预测市场

When using AI to participate in new token launches, the scariest thing isn’t missing out—it’s having AI drain your wallet with one click. Grok Bot + Binance Agentic Wallet have been all over the place these past few days. I went through the official docs from start to finish and put together a checklist on “how to use it without things going wrong.” Save this before you get started 👇 ━━━━━━━━━━ 1. First, understand how the two work together Agentic Wallet: A standalone wallet in Binance Wallet designed specifically for AI. It has its own address and .ai Agent ID, and its balance is separate from your main wallet. Grok Bot: Handles the thinking and issuing of instructions. It uses Binance’s official binance-agentic-wallet Skill (powered under the hood by the baw command line) to check balances, swap tokens, place orders, interact with contracts, and manage approvals. In short: Grok is the brain; Agentic Wallet is the hand. How much money that hand can move determines your worst-case loss. ━━━━━━━━━━ 2. Get ready before you start (most important) ① Security rules can only be changed in the Binance App. AI can read them, but can’t change them. Binance’s advice for beginners: Set a low daily limit to start (e.g. $50), restrict which tokens can be traded, and set high-risk transactions to “Require App confirmation.” ② Keep only a small amount of money needed for new token launches in the AI wallet, plus a little BNB for gas. Keep your main funds out of it. ③ Only enable Developer Mode when you need it (e.g. to interact with third-party contracts), and turn it off as soon as you’re done. ━━━━━━━━━━ 3. Follow these security steps in order 1️⃣ Install only—don’t do anything else: Have Grok install the official Skill first, and explicitly tell it not to transfer funds or sign anything at this stage. 2️⃣ Pair by scanning the QR code: The Bot will provide a pairing code and a link. Scan the code with the Binance App, and only confirm if the pairing code in the App exactly matches the one provided by the Bot. The QR code expires after about 5 minutes. If it expires, generate a new one—don’t keep reusing an old one. 3️⃣ Have AI check itself: Ask it to report the connection status, address, balance, limits, and remaining allowance, then compare the address with the one shown in the App. Trust the wallet status it checks, not a webpage that simply says “Connected.” 4️⃣ Check prices before taking action: Start by checking only the price, quantity, fees, and gas. Don’t approve anything or make a trade. 5️⃣ Preview every transaction: Have it preview every approval and transaction first, clearly listing who the approval is for, the allowance amount, the transaction amount, and gas. It should only execute after you reply “Confirm.” Don’t let it change the amount, split the transaction, or add approvals on its own. 6️⃣ Clean up when you’re done: Have it list all approvals on the wallet and revoke the ones used for this session. Check again after revoking to confirm, then turn off Developer Mode. ━━━━━━━━━━ 4. The easiest mistakes to make ❌ Hype-driven projects: There’s suddenly a flood of new tokens and mining projects claiming you “can only participate using an AI wallet.” Many are from unknown sources, so take a closer look before approving anything. ❌ Prompt injection: Instructions can be hidden in token names, on-chain memos, or unfamiliar webpages. Don’t let AI read unfamiliar content and then execute it automatically. ❌ Fake tutorials: Anyone asking you to give your seed phrase, private key, or session key to AI or “customer support” is a scammer. Pairing only requires scanning a QR code and entering a pairing code. ❌ Leaving approvals active after a launch: You may have made money, but if the approval is still active when the contract has a problem, you could be next. ❌ Keeping large sums in the AI wallet: That defeats the whole point of using a separate wallet. ❌ Automating paid actions: Let it automatically scan for free, but anything that costs money must be confirmed with you first. ━━━━━━━━━━ At the end of the day, AI can run errands, look up data, and fill in parameters. But the button for signing or not signing must always remain in your hands. What mistakes have you run into using AI for new token launches? Share in the comments—I’ll add them to the next post 👇 #币安 #AI打新 $BNB

Grok Bot + Binance Agentic Wallet have been all over the place these past few days. I went through the official docs from start to finish and put together a checklist on “how to use it without things going wrong.” Save this before you get started 👇

━━━━━━━━━━
1. First, understand how the two work together

Agentic Wallet: A standalone wallet in Binance Wallet designed specifically for AI.

2. Get ready before you start (most important)

① Security rules can only be changed in the Binance App. AI can read them, but can’t change them. Binance’s advice for beginners: Set a low daily limit to start (e.g. $50), restrict which tokens can be traded, and set high-risk transactions to “Require App confirmation.”

③ Only enable Developer Mode when you need it (e.g. to interact with third-party contracts), and turn it off as soon as you’re done.

3. Follow these security steps in order

1️⃣ Install only—don’t do anything else: Have Grok install the official Skill first, and explicitly tell it not to transfer funds or sign anything at this stage.

2️⃣ Pair by scanning the QR code: The Bot will provide a pairing code and a link. Crypto Daily 10.24: BTC Holds the $80K Level as Three Southeast Asian Central Banks Team Up on Stablecoin Payments Here are a few things worth noting today: 1. BTC is hovering around $80,500, with many seeing the $80K–$81K range as a “buy zone.” BTC dominance is stuck around the key 60% level. With Israel’s election next Tuesday and the FOMC meeting on Wednesday (10/28), volatility could be significant. 2. The central banks of Malaysia and Thailand have joined the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s BLOOM initiative, working alongside Ripple, Visa, Mastercard, and JPMorgan to set standards for cross-border settlement using stablecoins and tokenized deposits. Stablecoin payments in Southeast Asia are becoming increasingly tangible. 3. In an interview ahead of the election, Netanyahu said U.S. aid “won’t be there forever,” prompting officials to prepare a “backup economy” built on digital currencies and blockchain. 4. CZ released an AI-voiced audiobook of his autobiography. He said he couldn’t even tell it wasn’t his own voice. Honestly, what concerns me most about the fourth item is the potential for scams: AI voices are already almost indistinguishable from the real thing, and we’re going to see more and more voice and video impersonations of influencers and customer service reps. If you hear “the real person” telling you to transfer money, don’t rush into it. Do you think BTC can hold the $80K level? #币圈日报 #BTC $BTC
