Everyone keeps quoting that $58 billion reconciliation number like it's a tech problem. It's not. Every custodian in the chain is doing correct math on correct data, and mismatches still happen because correct only means correct locally, then gets checked against everyone else's version after the fact. Dusk's XSC isn't trying to speed that chain up. It's asking why the chain needs to check itself at all. That's the part that stuck with me. Verification usually happens downstream, after the fact, like a cleanup job. XSC moves it upstream one calculation, done once, that everyone just inherits. Most tokenized assets don't actually do this. They just put the old multi-party process on a token and call it innovation. If XSC's version actually holds up, the corporate-actions problem stops being about speed and becomes about structure. But I keep coming back to what gets lost. All those redundant, inefficient paying agents were also, accidentally, an error-catching system when your numbers didn't match mine, we found the problem before money moved. One contract means one calculation, and no one left with a real incentive to catch it if that calculation is wrong. So yeah, the efficiency gain seems real. I just don't know yet who's supposed to catch the bug before it becomes a loss instead of after. #dusk @Dusk_Foundation $DUSK
