More and more AI agents are now placing orders, buying things, and paying API fees on their own. The problem is that most of this money and data still runs through systems that require you to “trust a company.” We’re seeing more and more news about data breaches because these systems essentially operate on a “just trust me” basis.

✨What @GOATNetwork aims to do is let commercial activity inherit Bitcoin’s security: “verifiable, without having to trust anyone.”

🔶The latest major move: Ziren 2.0

Ziren is a zkVM built by the GOAT Network team—the “heart” of the entire system. It proves every state transition on GOAT, as well as every transaction that withdraws BTC from the bridge.

Ziren 2.0 has a completely new proving core, rebuilt over 1,690 commits. The result is real-time proving of Ethereum blocks: an average of 8.6 seconds to prove a mainnet block (Ethereum produces a block every 12 seconds), with proof sizes of just 284 KiB. It’s now listed publicly on Ethproofs.

This directly benefits the bridge. The faster and cheaper the proofs, the faster and less costly it is for users to move from GOAT back to BTC. Plus, the new core is hash-based, so its most computationally intensive cryptography is already quantum-resistant, and there’s a public post-quantum upgrade plan for the remaining elliptic-curve components.

🔶Other updates

🔹Content is now available on more platforms: LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Medium—with videos, explainers, and guides.

🔹The “GOAT on Socials” community campaign runs through November 18: find some content on any of their channels, write an original post, and 10 people will share 250 USDT.

🔹The October newsletter also covered: a partnership with a KOSDAQ-listed South Korean company to explore AI agent stablecoin payments in Korea; the final results of the BitVM3 bridge bug bounty (123 findings, with 16 awarded and fixed); NIST’s timeline for legacy cryptography; and full coverage of KBW.

🔶Why this is worth watching

The AI agent economy is moving forward, and payments will become increasingly automated. But if security still means “trust a centralized service,” the risk remains.

@GOATNetwork’s approach is to bring Bitcoin’s proven security into more complex business scenarios—including agent payments, cross-chain transactions, and merchant payments—using zk proofs and the BitVM bridge. Its goal is to gradually replace “please trust me” with “you can verify it.”
