🚨 Matcha is really finished this time! It’s been placed directly on the U.S. Treasury Department’s blacklist!
According to recently published allegations by FinCEN, part of the U.S. Treasury Department, MEXC processed at least $16 billion between May 2021 and May 2026 in funds related to sanctions evasion, cybercrime, and other illicit activities.
Of that amount, nearly $1.5 billion was related to evading Russian sanctions, and approximately $1 billion involved direct transactions with more than 40 Iranian cryptocurrency operators. Even more concerning: FinCEN claims that MEXC continued processing transactions linked to sanctioned Russian exchanges through June of this year.
The main measure is to prohibit U.S. financial institutions from processing fund transfers related to MEXC.
If you still dare to leave your money on Matcha, you’ve got a lot of guts. I’m terrified! 😵😵 #MEXC
