SNZ is separating its investments from its Web3 ecosystem — and its new platform, BlockUnion, officially launches today.

Facts: At the 2026 Hong Kong Digital Asset Forum, SNZ Holding announced that its Web3 ecosystem platform, BlockUnion, had officially begun operations (reported Nov. 3, 2026). The division is clear: SNZ Capital will remain focused on Web3 investments and frontier technology, while BlockUnion will handle infrastructure support, ecosystem development, strategic partnerships, and the developer community. Its initial focus areas are on-chain finance, decentralized agent-based applications, and enterprise-grade smart contracts — guided by the philosophy “Connect to Empower” and backed by a team that claims more than a decade of experience in the Ethereum and Asian Web3 ecosystems.

Status: CONFIRMED — this was an announcement at a forum, not a token rumor or a promise of a distribution. This is the launch of an ecosystem platform, not a new token.

My take: What’s interesting isn’t the name, but the separation of roles. Investors who also manage an ecosystem can often seem to mix their interests; SNZ is explicitly separating the two. Hong Kong as the setting is no coincidence either — the city is positioning itself as a bridge between Eastern and Western markets for digital assets. But an announcement is still just an announcement: BlockUnion’s value will only be proven when builders and real projects come through the platform, not through its press release.

What I’ll be watching next: the first projects and partners accelerated by BlockUnion, and whether its focus on “decentralized agents” leads to real products or stops at jargon.

Do you think separating investments and the ecosystem like this makes a Web3 group more credible, or is it just a rebranding exercise?

This is my analysis, not financial advice — always DYOR.
