$TIA rose 11.2% in six hours, with spot volume up 45%. Eden gives it a new demand channel through direct application payments.

Celestia was originally designed mainly to store and verify transaction data for other chains. Eden lets applications run directly on independent, Ethereum-compatible networks and pay execution fees in TIA. If applications continue generating transactions, payers will need to replenish their TIA. The key to incremental demand is the volume of actual payments; the official documentation lists live mainnet deployments and cross-chain entry points.

As of 13:00 Hong Kong time, full 6H spot trading volume was 10.47 million USDT, with aggressive buys accounting for 55.1%. Peer EIGEN rose 12.2%, but its volume was only 2.23 million, with buys making up 49.5%. TIA's gain was slightly smaller, but spot buying support was stronger. Over the same period, TIA futures open interest rose 6.95%, and leverage also began to follow, potentially amplifying subsequent volatility.

The opportunity in this move depends on whether application demand can sustain spot buying. Short-term holders in profit can take partial profits in stages from positions tied to the Eden news, while tracking actual payments and buying demand with the remainder. If buy volume falls below half in the next complete 6H period and trading volume contracts at the same time, reduce this news-driven position. The biggest risk is that application usage growth fails to meet price expectations.
