On October 6, 2026, TRON DAO Research published “State of TRON Q3 2026.” Today, let’s break down what it says in plain English.

1️⃣30,000,000,000,000

There are 13 zeros in that number. That’s $30 trillion. On September 23, TRON’s cumulative transaction volume passed this milestone. That means the equivalent of roughly seven years of Japan’s nominal GDP has flowed through a single chain.

In Q3 alone, stablecoin payment volume reached $2.21 trillion, up 5.1% from the previous quarter. That’s an average of $24.05 billion a day. Around $280,000 is flowing through the network every second, even as you read this. The numbers are incredible.

2️⃣18,000,000

Next, users. Average monthly active addresses grew 9.8%, from 16.4 million to 18 million. Here’s where it gets interesting: new addresses were created at an average rate of about 179,000 per day, down 3.5%. It wasn’t a rush of newcomers. People who had used the network once were coming back again and again. The report notes that this isn’t a direct measure of user numbers or retention. Even so, the outline of a network that people keep using is clear. Transactions totaled about 1.1 billion, roughly flat quarter over quarter and up 33.7% year over year.

3️⃣ Minus 4%

And here’s the number I like best. Fee revenue fell 4.0% to $701.4 million for the quarter, averaging $7.62 million per day. The average fee per transaction also dropped, from $0.668 to $0.643. Over the same period, Bitcoin rose 40%. Infrastructure that cut prices while the market was heating up—there’s nothing else like it.

4️⃣Three New Products

Now, let’s look at three new things.

First, TRX you can buy through a brokerage account. On September 9, Canary Capital listed TRXS, the first U.S. ETF to combine spot TRX with staking rewards, on Cboe BZX. No private keys or wallet needed.

Second, USDT you can send without holding TRX. MoonPay introduced transactions that don’t require users to hold TRX for network fees, with Trust Wallet as its first partner.

Third, a wallet powered by biometrics. Proposal 107, approved by 25 of the 27 Super Representatives, activated functionality in the Pyrrho upgrade. Smart contracts can now directly verify passkey signatures generated by Apple Secure Enclave and Android Keystore.

TRX in your brokerage account. USDT transfers without TRX. Signing without a password.

See the pattern? These aren’t three products. They’re one product.

It’s called “the blockchain you don’t have to think about.”

Nobody thinks about a power plant every time they use electricity. Nobody turns on a tap and thanks the water treatment plant. The best infrastructure is infrastructure you can forget. Lower fees follow the same principle. The less you notice the toll, the more cars use the road.

5️⃣Finally

There’s another side to this story. The share of new TRX issuance offset by TRX burns fell from 75.6% in the previous quarter to 65.1%, resulting in a net increase of about 126 million TRX over the quarter. The more invisible the network becomes, the less people need to interact with TRX. So where does the value accrue?

The answer lies in staking, which accounts for about 48% of the circulating supply, and TRXS, which brings it into a regulated framework. TRX is transforming from a “coin for payments” into a “stake in the infrastructure.”

From loose change in your pocket to shares in a power plant.

This is Q3’s real new product.

$30 trillion isn’t the finish line. It’s a countdown to the day blockchain becomes invisible. The next time someone sends USDT, they may not even know the name TRON. That is what victory looks like for TRON.
