📈$BTC Short | Take Profit $81,900 · Stop Loss $84,680
Current Price $83,483 (24h -2.79% | 7d +9.29%)
📜 Prior Recap: Yesterday $BTC went Long · Stop Loss Hit and Exited
🎯 Strategy: Short, take profit $81,900, stop loss $84,680 (exit if price breaks below/above this level; don’t hold through a single position)
Position Management:
Last round: Long entered at 86,000 and stopped out at 84,520; accepted the 1.72% loss—position wasn’t chosen well. Today I’ll short lightly around 83,500, stop loss at 84,680, target 81,900, and won’t add to the position.
📰 Highlights
• Zheng Di says the SEC innovation exemption can enable a compliant bull market opening/closing—sounds like a long-term positive, but it doesn’t change the current pullback in the short term.
• Lao Bai says this is the last round of a decent bull market; in the RWA and privacy sectors, there’s money flowing in, but it has limited impact on BTC sentiment.
• Wall Street early-morning PMI blew out; U.S. Treasuries were sold off hard. The rate-hike probability is back to over 70%, stocks fell, and BTC short-term is definitely uncomfortable.
• Bankless says ZEC is like ETH in 2021; NEAR is accumulating—there’s some capital overflow, but it’s not flowing into BTC for now.
Technical Analysis
Last round’s 86,000 long was stopped at 84,520—owning it; I got slapped in the face. Today’s 15-minute RSI is already oversold at 32, and price has also broken below the MA20 (84,047). On the 4-hour chart, the MA20 is still above the MA60, but price has returned below 85,206. The daily chart is still holding above 79,688, though. This short-term pullback hasn’t finished yet. If the near two-day low at 83,175 can’t hold, then below is around 80,800 near the 4-hour moving average. Macro data is weak; U.S. stocks are down, and BTC is following along with no say in it. I lean toward a light short: enter on the rebound to around 83,500—don’t chase deep. If there’s a re-bound to 84,000 and it doesn’t break, then add a little. Place the stop loss at 84,680, giving enough 1.4% room to avoid getting swept. Target first looks at 81,900.
⚠ My personal analysis does not constitute investment advice. Contract risk is extremely high—please strictly use stop losses.
