People who know me should all know that once I determine a trading framework, it’s very hard for me to be swayed again by short-term market sentiment.
In 2023, I repeatedly talked about a batch of then-popular narratives such as ORDI, PEPE, SUI, CETUS, WLD, and RWA.
Later, projects like RDNT turned out not to hold up in the market—and you could even say they failed.
But I still stuck to my own judgment. All the way to the end of 2024, they topped the market.
Watching projects grow is always painful—especially when you used to love to communicate. Every day, someone would ask you, “Is it still okay?” Because once you see Bitcoin at $70,000 and Sui at 0.6, chances are everyone will ask the same question. Every day you have to tell different people, “Don’t worry, just hold.” In practice, though, it’s extremely painful for me personally.
It’s not just one or two people you’re facing—it’s a whole crowd.
Then, at the end of 2024, I chose another path: the rise of Ethereum.
This time, many people who started out questioning turned into outright insults. After that period, my entire social style changed a lot.
I rarely follow market sentiment.
Because to me, trading has never been about guessing what will go up today. It’s about, after you’ve locked in the direction, waiting for the market to ultimately validate your framework.
So often it looks like I’m going against the market.
Actually, I’m simply moving forward according to my own understanding.
For many people, that’s just an idea. But for me, it’s me guarding a logical framework—its loneliness is something ordinary people can hardly imagine.
Imagine it: Bitcoin at $20,000, Sui at 0.4, Bitcoin at $70,000, and Sui also around 0.5. And in the meantime, you have to keep responding to every single person who casts doubt. In my trading framework, it will surely rise.
Many things are far more than just talking. There was a post earlier that mentioned a group where, over three months, hundreds of times of discussion all revolved around a single framework—bringing it up again and again. That’s the kind of agony you go through at the bottom…
