BREAKING: Pyth is now an external distributor of Nasdaq Basic 🔮

Nasdaq’s real-time quote and trade product for U.S. equities is being distributed through the Pyth Data Marketplace.

Nasdaq Basic carries top-of-book data from the Nasdaq market center: best bid and offer with size, plus last sale price and size from Nasdaq’s U.S. venues and trades reported to the FINRA/Nasdaq Trade Reporting Facility.

Coverage extends across all U.S. exchange-listed securities, regardless of which venue the security is listed on.

It also includes the Nasdaq Official Opening Price and Nasdaq Official Closing Price, reference prices used across the industry to value positions at the open and close.

The distribution path matters.

Nasdaq Basic is already used across brokerages, banks, fintech platforms, and consumer investing apps. Pyth Data Marketplace adds a channel built for software and blockchain-native destinations.

Trading apps, fintech platforms, blockchain apps, and institutions can now access Nasdaq Basic through the Pyth Data Marketplace as a single integration point.

Clients interested in using Pyth as their Nasdaq Basic provider must license directly with Nasdaq and receive prior written Nasdaq approval before consuming the feed.

That is the role of the Pyth Data Marketplace: institutional datasets reaching the applications that need them, with publisher attribution and commercial control preserved.

The price of everything keeps moving closer to the systems that use it.
